Found this on the back of my cousins 4th grade play program. He did a play called "Rats." It was about the story of the Pied Piper of Hamlet. This statement was on the back, it's really interesting.
"Hamelin is a real town in Germany. In the year 1284, 130 children disappeared from the town. No one knows what actually happened to them. Although the origin of the Pied Piper legend is lost, Robert Browning popularized it with his poem, "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" in 1842."
Thought it was interesting, Enjoy!!! heart
