Dance!

Song of the Day...Rock Your Body, from DDR

Status: pretty good. ^_^

Today was alright, I think. I got to school at around 8:15, since the 28 likes to take its time these days. -___- So, I went to the cafeteria and I got the English homework from Amy and Judy. That took quite a while, and I had to leave a few questions out, which I hoped to finish at lunch, because I had promised to meet Vivian upstairs the day before. So I went up around 8:30. We talked for a while. You know, the usual. Waved at Lindah in front of her class.

Writing Seminar was fun! ^_^ Ms. Kress was absent, and I was supposed to be working on the body pargraphs for my essay. But of course, I'll do that for homework, so we just had free time. I was sitting with Annie, Anna (Tong), Jennifer, and Janet. Susanna was taking a test so she wasn't with us. I finished up my English homework, while Annie drew a picture of my choice. And I also drew a random anime girl picture. ^_^

Math was boring. Once again. Though I think I have a better understanding of the whole similar triangle proof thingy with proportions. Mr. Eng showed us how to do #9, which Emran didn't even get last night. 0_o

After that was lunch. I actually didn't go to the Reference Room in the back of the library today where Lindah, Priya, Fariha, Michelle, and Bushra were. I went to the back from where the doors are. Like that little back area right next to the Reference Room, but behind the shelves. It was an amazingly good feeling to talk to absolutely no one through a lunch period for once. Sounds hypocritic right? I mean, I'm so anti-loner, and yet here I was ditching my friends to be alone. But don't worry. I have a perfectly good reason. I was writing of course.

I did eventually go to the back where everyone else was because this senior dude needed a seat, and he was being noisy with his friend back there, so I figured I might as well go. That last ten minutes was rather boring though. So, the question here is...do I like to be alone?

Latin was pretty boring. I keep finding myself just hoping so much that it will end these days. It's jsut not fun anymore. Especially with those boring and pointless presentations creeping up day after day.

Biology was fun! ^_^ We did a lab about electrolysis. Where we had to separate dyes of color. Except, we had to wait like 20 minutes for the gel substance that we would insert the dye into to be heated and to harden. That acrtually took up like one whole period. Actually Esther just randomly asked me if I would listen to some songs. So then she have me a list and Cindy added to it I think.

And then I made a list that was like twice the size of hers lol, for her. And Cindy added to that one as well. Heh heh. Maybe I should listen to one of those now? Anyway, the lab was overall EASY. But the discussion was a bit complicated. You know, that's the point in the lab when you stare at the questions and wonder "So what the hell was the point of this whole thing?"

Moving on. Global was alright. Well, actually it was pretty boring. We did another one of thingies where we get into groups and talk about stuff, and then one person presents.

English was kool too. We did another class play on Scene 1 of Inherit the Wind. Hilarious but of course. And I actually paid attention, and made sense of it! ^_^

After that, I met Lindah upstairs in front of my locker. We headed out and I got fries from Kenny's while she got a chicken cutlet. I didn't get a chicken cutlet this time because I'm trying to avoid eating haram food. Yes, because I promised Salma I wouldn't. Anyway, on the way I also bought 2 hotdogs for when I got to her house, since I'm bound to get hungry there. And there's nothing in her refrigerator but tofu, rice, and veggies. xD

When we got there, of course, I played DDR. Her mom was home this time for a while. Lindah certainly has a better relationship with her mom than I do with mine. Interesting. Her mom is really encouraging and Lindah is more open with her than I am with Amma. I wonder why that is?

You know Seduction? Yeah that song that I kept getting E's on? I played it like 40 times over and I actually went up from E to C to B! ^-^

I had one of my hotdogs in between DDR (i should have asked the guy not to put mustard on it! though it was okayt), and the other before I left. It was hilarious when Lindah was doing really well and then she fell and hurt her ankle (only funny becuz she was okay of course ^_^). I stayed until around 7:30 today. I left around when her Dad got home. DDR is so much fun! And Para Para too. I told Lindah about Para Para, so I hope that she'll want to do it too! ^_^ I'm gonna go learn more Para Para! Rasseran! Soran! Soran soran! Soran soran!
