I'm trying. Is that good enough?

Song of the Day...Ash Like Snow, by Brilliant Blue Green

Status: quite well i would suppose

I'm trying not to procrastinate like I usually do today. So in order to fulfill this task of "not procrastinating", I have everything important that I want to get done first thing when I get home scribbled upon my right hand. Do you suppose that was a good idea? I hope my hand doesn't get ink poisoning or anything of that sort.

First on my list of things to do was my Global homework. I had to check out a website about East Asia, which I just did. This was meant to be an easy task, but somehow it turned out that the page didn't load. Whatever, I guess. I let it alone, and continued on to my Writing Seminar homework. I hate when I'm writing something and I can't get the right feel for what I'm trying to say. This personal essay that I'm supposed to be writing gives me that frustrating sort of feeling. It's as if the meaning is there, but I just can't find the words to express it.

Since I don't have much homework to do online right now, I think I'll just finish rereading Chapter 23 of Vampire Knight. I was rereading the whole series to get a better understanding of some of the important points I may have missed. I think that Shizuka's death was a very beautiful scene now that I think about it. And her relationship with Ichiru was also interesting, though sad. I wonder if another episode of Vampire Knight will be aired in Japan today? Episode 1 aired on April 7th, and since it has been a week since then, I think there should be another episode today. However, I'm not sure what time it will be airing, so I can't exactly expect someone to have uploaded it online by now.

I was talking about Vampire Knight with Salma and Teresa today on the bus as well. Salma still favors Kaname, even though he's Yuuki's brother. Ah well, Zero is still perfect! She also recommended that I watch Air, Kanon, and Clannad, so I'll be getting to those eventually. Also, if you're reading this Teresa, don't forget to read Vampire Knight!!! IT IS SO GOOD.

All that aside, I had a fairly nice day. I got to school around 8:15. I went straight to the cafeteria. I had a bagel with grape jelly, along with some Kix (my lazy friends won't get me a bagel lol!). I didn't really have much to do then, so I just talked with Amy, Judy, Christie, and Qun Li. I was also saved the trouble of going to my locker because Amy was nice enough to go for me again. ^_^

Second period was alright. We had to work on our essays. I wonder if Writer's block is my problem? Or maybe I just don't give a crap about essays? And yet, I want to be a writer. How contradictory.

Math was as always. We talked about the different parts of a circle.

After that, I had lunch. Well, that is, I had lunch period. I didn't actually eat lunch. Today was a conference day, by the way. According to Mr. Eng, we're going to start having two conference days a month now. At lunch, I remembered that I actually hadn't done my Global homework. It took me almost all period to do it. And at the very end of the period, I started working on my own writing pieces some more. I hate when the words just don't go the way I want them to. I mean, I know that it's very easy to simply change it, but then I get stuck on finding the perfect phrasing.

I met Esther outside of the library, and we headed to Latin. Latin was okay today. Nothing riveting or out of the ordinary really. I actually did all of my work in Latin today. It isn't that I normally don't do my work. What's different about today is that I actually had some enthusiasm towards it. I tried to finish all of the work even after the period ended, and I even got my homework done in class. Straying from the topic a bit, David seems to think that I'm smart in Latin for some reason. He keeps asking me questions about things, and he trusts me on the homework over otehr people. I know, pride is bad. So, maybe I'm---how should I say this---flattered?

Up next was Biology. Esther and I met Fariha on the third floor, and we headed off to Biology. It was the usual really. Sometimes I think that the lessons that Mr. Davis teaches can come irrelevantly out of the blue! Or maybe it's just because I didn't read the chapter in the textbook. Nicole told me in Gym that she read about some of the things he was saying in the textbook. Ah well. We basically just learned about a hormone called epinephrine transmits a message through the cell membrane of a liver cell to a secondary messenger called cyclic AMP that instigates an inactive enzyme to activate and convert glycogen (which is stored in the liver) to glucose. Interesting, really.

Global was a little more boring than Biology. Well, actually, Biology was pretty interesting, so Global must have just been plain boring? We learned about the different dynasties of China and talked about how their terrirtory span changed throughout each dynasty's rule.

English was the same as always. We went through Act I Scene II of Inherit the Wind, and answered some questions on the handout. Afterwards, I just went off to the bus stop. Of course, I bought a bagel on the way. Emran wasn't there. I figured he wasn't there so I left. No. Wait. That's a lie. I think I probably thought that he hadn't come yet, but just left anyway. How mean of me, right?

I sat with Salma and Teresa today. We talked about a lot of things as usual. Ranging from Salma's inner tree to our love of Vampire Knight to Death Note.

After I got home, I got straight to working on my homework for once. I didn't waste time like I so often tend to. So, I think I'll go back to doing whatever it was that I planned to do next now.
