I wonder what it would be like to kiss her poisonous lips, to feel the toxic rush plusing through my veins. I had always wondered what she had been thinking whenever our eyes met. I longed to know how her hair felt between my fingers. I would never know any of that. Not unless I wanted to ruin my reputation.
We lived in totally different worlds. Hers was filled with black lipstick, eyeliner, and morbid thoughts. Mine was different. My world revolved around being the "mysterious" dreamy guy at school whom all the girls would fall for. It isn't as easy as it may sound. I can only be seen with a selected few. I can never interact with people outside of my social group, unless it is to insult them, which I may add, I never do. I wish I could be that one guy who would change the way things worked within our world, or at least within our highschool. I would do anything just to be with her...
"Hey! Watch it freak!" Brendon yelled towards her direction. Her eyes automaticly went to me. All I did was shrug, and smile. It felt good, I had never smiled to her before. She nervously bit her lip, but smiled back. It was a faint smile, but her teeth looked pure white against her black lipstick. Her face seemed to gain some color when I had smiled at her, there was a faint blush across her cheeks. It made my heart skip a beat. It always did whenever I saw her. Too bad I couldn't let the whole world know how I felt about her. "Do you even believe her? She needs to watch where she's going or I'm going to beat up her a**." This snapped me back into reality.
"You wouldn't," I quckly added, "not to a girl." He looked at me just for a second and started laughing.
"One of our kind, no. But one of them, now that is a different story." I hate how he never treats other people with respect. He doesn't even treat anyone outside of our social clique like human beings. It sickens me beyond measure. But in the end, there is nothing I could do. Unless I wanted to take a chance.
