This weeks topic is about Hell. Hades is the Greek equivalent of hell. There are a few rivers in Hades. The river styx, which the dead are ferried across by Charon, is the most famous one. The river Lethe gave the gift of forgetfulness to those who drank from it. All the dead except for the ones tormented by their crimes drink from that river. Not only do the dead forget their past lives, they also forget they are in the underworld. By drinking blood, the dead can temporally regain their memories. other rivers include the acheron, the Cocytus, and the Phlegethon, the river of fire.
