I really have a lot of work to do for the SAT2s! ^^ I had classes today, since it is Saturday. It was pretty nice. But in a different. I often expect something to be fun in a way that it was when I experienced before, but those expectations are almost always let down, so I figure that it can be fun everytime, but in a different way.
I thought I would be late today because I missed the first 28 that came, but the second one came right on the marked time! I never noticed that the bus alwas comes on time as Emran says. Hmm...anyway, I got to school about a half hour early, so I met Katie and Patsie there. ^^ Patsy was working on her Biology Regents stuff so I just talked to Noel. And I finally lent her my notes from the classes that she missed. She said that she'd give them to Vivian to give back to me.
After a while, other people started coming. So I talked to Jennifer and Jasmine for a while and Jennifer quizzed us on Bio stuff. xD I also called Karin from Jennifer's phone, but she wasn't picking up, though later when she did come, it turned out that she has a new phone.
So then I went back to talk with Katie and Annie was there too reading. ^^ So she lent me a book to read too for a bit. I was reading Wild Magic which is book 1 of the Immortal series by Tamora Pierce. I feel like reading the Lioness Quartet again. xD Soon after, we went inside so me and Annie sat together in the front. Salma was going to sit behind me, but she didn't want to use a lefty desk. xD Of course, when Karin came she sat behind me. Though, that was only after we returned from the lunch break.
Today we mostly went over the drill test from last week and we took another drill today. Today's one was easier than alst week's. It had 95 questions instead of a hundred, though I still didn't finish. I completed around 90 of them. And I actually thought that the rest were pretty easy, but there was no time. T___T I hope I did well this time!
During the lunch break, me and Karin and Annie went out to the courtyard and we sat under the trees. ^^ We played the Poke'mon alphabet game while Karin and Annie ate Annie's dumplings. =) And then Karin was trying to teach me to do a cartwheel. I think I might have done a little better on a different day because today I had leg cramps. xD Haha, I was over there ding jumping jacks and push ups to prepare to do a cartwheel lolz.
After the break we went back in. Well, we bought cookies. So, I shared my cookies with Annie and Karin. And I gave Adam a cookie too. And then we went back and all sat it the front. Annie and me were passing notes all the while, but I tried not to do it too much because I was trying to pay attention, since Mr. Lee got pissed really fast when people talked while he was talking. Like when Tensae went up to get he test because he didn't hear his name called the first time. Mr. Lee told him to sit down for coming up late. And then, when he asked him what his name was becuase he didn't see the scantron, Tensae spelled his name, and Mr. Lee said "He's being fresh," because of the way Tensae was enunciating too much. I hope he didn't get too bad of an impression of Tensae becasue that's just how he talks, and I doubt he was really trying to be fresh. Ah well, I suppose.
After the lunch break, we took another drill. And as I said, I think I did somewhat better, though my expectations aren't too high at the moment.
And then we had another break in which Annie and me and Karin went to the bathroom since my nose was running during the test. xD No, I wasn't sick. Just had to blow my nose once! And that's all! lol.
We learned about Mendelian genetics next. I'm glad we got around to pedigrees because I was having a little trouble with that a couple of days ago. ><
Anyway, at 3 it was finally time to go. ^^ Salma and Karin waited for me since I seem to take a while to pack. xD
So then me and Salma and Karin went down the street. And we ended up running at many points because we were trying to push each other from behind, or rather, I was trying to push them, and they teamed up to get me back. xD
Lolz. It was fun! ^^ After that, me and Salma were under the train station and there just so happened to be this guy selling flowers there. ^^ So I bought a couple of roses for my mom for $5 for mother's day tomorrow. Then me and Salma went down the street and we bought eyeliner. xD Well actually, I think she thought that the lady at the store knew her, and since her mother doesn't want her to have eyeliner, she got me to buy it. xD And we were pretending to talk about it like, "Hey do you think she would like this?" as if it was for someone else. xD It was pretty hilarious.
After that we saw a place where they were selling more roses. And then Salma boguht a rose there for $2. Lol, yes I got ripped off by that other guy. xD Though he was quite nice. ^^
Then, Salma thought she lost her eyesliner so half way down the street, we went back to the palce with the roses and the store where she got the eyeliner to look for it. It was only a dollar by the way. And then, she found it in her bag. Of course, the lady selling the roses stopped us to talk too. She was a squinty eyes Asian. I wish I had a better way of saying so, but none comes to mind. And she was really nice. Since our flowers were pretty long, she cut the stem on the bottom. ^^ And this white lady with reddish brown hair who was with her son looking at roses also recognized us. She saw us at the previous flower stand and she was like, "Oh they were from over there" to the other flower selling lady. xD And the dlower selling lady also knew we were from Bronx Science. Apparently she remembers that we came there on some other Saturday when we had classes. ^^
I met a lot of nice people today, huh?
We saw the bus come just then, so like the idiots we are we made a run for it, though we could have walked since a lot of people were getting on anyway. On the bus we talked about how Salma's mother nevers likes anything she talks about. She always says that she's obsessed with school work when she talks about that. And that she's obsessed with her friends becasue she talks about me and Ruki and Hera. I met Ruki today on the street when we were walking to the bus stop today. She was really nice. ^^ You would think that I would find it awkward to shake someone's hand as a greeting, but it was nice. Hontoni! Anyway, she said that her mom always talks about eating because she thinks Salma doesn't eat enough. xD
Anyway, since I spent my only $5 on roses today, no pizza. >< Though I did have rice and salmon when I got home. ^^ And Amma liked the roses. ^^ Yay. =)
