Some people have scars that they can still feel
Old wounds that run deep
Old wounds that won`t heal
They feel the pain
Feel its slow maddening creep
Slowly and steadily they are driven insane
Psycological damage, soon takes its toll
As the aflicted cry out in desperation
As they are drawn deep into the black hole
The pain sears their body, and they nearly give in
Their forehead soon shines with profuse perspiration
This maddening pain destroys what they`ve been
Then on very rare occasions
They meet a person who vanquishes the pain
They begin to ignore the pain`s evil persuasions
Soon the person, may become their old selves
As the new loves drives away the rain
And the pain of these people, are stored up on shelves
