Pretty little tragedy,
Teenage angst at its best,
Dead souls rest on flower petals,
Broken-hearted like the rest.
Searching for warmth,
In an unfamiliar world,
Is there no light in store for her,
From all the lies she was told?
After al that's passed,
The memories created in time,
She never learned her lesson,
Recognize the perfection of her crime.
Days pass, weeks pass, months pass fast,
She's lost in a sea of unreached dreams,
Help her, if only you could succeed,
Her life flashes by in a moment it seems.
How empty can she get?
Hollowed out by all the heartache,
An empty shell, cast aside in shame,
How much more can she possibly take?
He came to her through an angel-of-sorts,
A bit of a savior and a demon, but which?
Knocking her down, teaching her to rise?
A weight lifted, a heart stitch.
Is it help? Is it hurt?
Is she even worth a thing?
He stands by her, why, oh why?
Left but once, still did it sting.
One by one, she falls, she falls,
A pit of everlasting self doubt,
He beckons her back, a warm smile, a wink,
Everything she's confused about.
Maybe someday, more growth began,
A time later on in life,
Once she gets to know herself,
Left behind old habits, dropped the knife.
Hold her hand, keep her safe,
Lift her when she falls, be there through it all,
Prove yourself, never give up on her,
And you'll be the one she calls.
Be her all, her everything,
The reason she wakes each morn,
Fix her broken soul,
Stitch her heart where it's torn.
You can be the world to her,
You can fill her heart and mind with only you,
You can revive her soul,
And she'll be all yours too.
She'll live each day with you on her mind,
Your smile, your voice, your eyes,
Plaguing each inch of her thoughts,
Showing the end of her desperate cries.
Open your eyes, she's a fool for you,
Your love is real as the sky is blue,
Why can't you just realize a fact so clear?
She's lost without you.
