Today was beyond fun! It was so amazing! (perhaps i'm exaggerating here, but I had A LOT of fun!) Well...at the MC Fair was. The rest of the day was actually quite casual. Just like any other day. ^^
I got to school pretty early, since Emran seems to prefer the early bus when the weather is warmer. Yes, the weather has recently been getting hot finally. So, I ate breakfast with Teresa and Michelle. And then I went up to my locker to put away my cosplay outfit and the plastic wrapping and forks I bought for the festival. After I made my journey back downstairs with Vivian tagging along, I had the usual first period. ^^ In other words, I made fun of Amy and talked to everyone else. And today I also studied for Biology with Priya. ^^ Verbal studying is quite fun. ^^ I learned a lot from her about the digestive system and I was able to assess my knowledge from yesterday's studying about the heart and the respiratory system as well. ^^
After a while me and Vivian went upstairs and it was time for good old Writing Seminar. ^^ With my peer editing group (Hyein, Jonathan, and Janet), I finished up the essay on teenagers. And of course prior to that, I had my usual careless chatter with Annie and Simon and Priya. ^^
Math was pretty boring today too, though I think I understand constructions better. I really think, however, that exponents shouldn't be done with respect to rules because then people will only think of the rules and they won't really understand what's going on or why. They just do what the rule says. I say this because I was subjected to such misery in the past...xP
Lunch was pretty fun. We played hanball as usual, though I think I sucked more than usual. ^^
Latin was alright. We did a translation of Pliny's ghost story. ^^ Rather interesting, I must say. =) I do enjoy translating too.
BIology was SO BORING. It's so boring to sit in a classroom and already know everything the teeacher is teaching. T___T I guess that's the price I have to pay for wanting to take the SAT2s for Bio. >< I know too much lol.
Gym was okay. We had freetime today so after attendance me and Vivian just watched Lindah, Andrew, and some other people play volleyball. And after Gym, I changed into my cosplay outfit, which was that white shirt with the black belt, the shorts with the thin black belt, the red tie (for girls, not boys), the long socks, and the shoes. ^^
Priya and Noel asked about it in Global, but I think Salma knew why I was wearing it. xD Global was pretty fun today. It's nice to see that when you do the homework thoroughly and pay attention, it all actually falls into palce in your mind. Global can be pretty kool. ^^ Though I still have to ask Mr. McManamon what my 2 characters were...><
In English we got into our groups and weorked on the final revision for our essay, which I shall type up as soon as I'm done with this. ^^ Heh heh, Amy said that I looked nothing like a Japanese brown person and Christie said I looked cute. xD Who should I believe I wonder...? Ah that's right. You might have guessed by now, but I was dressing up as a tomboy Japanese school girl. ^^
After English, I went up to my locker and I met Karin there. I got all my stuff together and we went down to Room 222. Unlike all the other clubs, we hadn't gotten passes to skip 8th and 9th period, so we were a little behind on making the food and setting up stuff. Either way, we made it. ^^ Me and Karin ran off to the bathroom to put on lip gloss. And Patsy put on my clip for m (the cute silver one that amma borrowed and kept from suto khalamony). ^^ And after I fixed my socks and put on the little white bracelet with the heart that Amma gave me, we headed outside. There, we showed off our costumes while lounging around and tlaking to people.
Anatoley actually came around with a camera to take pictures of me and Karin and other people who cosplayed. ^^ And he took a short video of me, Karin, and Patsy talking about what we like about Japanese culture. ^^
Today...I ATE AL LOT OF ONIGIRI. SO GOOD. ^^ Loved it! And I had some rice from the club that had Mexican food, since Janill asked me to get something from there.
Jennifer was wearing a kimono! It was red and prettiful!!!!!!!!! Lolz. And Karin was a Japanese school girl like me, but she was a punk Japanese school girl. heheh, that's what Noel labeled her. The cosplayers got nametags with little red ribbons. ^^ I also got to paly handball today with Jennifer, Jefferson (just met him today nice dude), Ruth (just met her today, nice girl ^^), and Julian (he didn't know i was in his bio class lol). At first we played Watermelon. And then we played a real game. Ruth left, so it was me and Jefferson versus Julian and Jennifer. Heh heh, me and Jennifer didn't do much, so it was almost like singles between Julian and Jefferson. xD Heh heh, but they were really nice about our suckish skills. ^^
Plus, me and Jefferson won. xD He's really good lolz. Too bad I probably won't remember his face unless he says hi to me later or something. I have trouble remembering Asian faces when I meet them for the first time. xD So unless he wears the same blue shirt tomorrow, I won't remember lolz. xD
Anyway, Salma and Hera, Mary, Judy, Phillip, Thomas, Noel, Patsy and plenty of people from Jap club were there, and it was a lot of fun. ^^ Me and Karin also had fun standing around in the shade. Sad to say, there was no Para Para since not enough people were interested. xD But ah well I suppose, hmm?
Oh yeah there was also this dude that was going around taking pictures besides Anatoley. Night have been a phtography teacher or something. xD Haha, it was funny when he passed by us playing handball, he was like "This is the oddest group of handball kids I've ever seen", lol, because of me (school girl) and Jennifer (kimono). xD
Anyway, that was SO MUCH FUN! Arugatou goseimasu Allah! This was a really special day for me! I got to have fun with my friends and to enjoy a culture that I love! Arigatou!
