Chapter 15
It was morning. Kitty, Ryo, Bella and Nero were still asleep, the only ones who were awake all night were Sentaro and Edward. Sentaro was growing exhausted from using a long-range Spirit Scan.
Edward: Hm? *looking at Sentaro*
Sentaro: *eyes glowing, panting, sweating* Yes... I did it... I finally... found... her... *eyes stop glowing, collapses to the floor*
Edward: *runs towards Sentaro* Hey, are you all right?
Sentaro: *fast asleep*
Ryo: *waking up* Hey, keep it down. I was having the best dream, I was in a beautiful wedding and I was about to marry- *sees Sentaro, gasps, runs towards him* Hey dude, you okay?
Edward: I don't know what's wrong with him.
Ryo: Man, that Spirit Scan must've gotten the best of him. Hm, I wonder if he found her. *takes out map from his bag, places it near Sentaro* With this, we'll know exactly where she is.
Edward: Shouldn't we wait until he wakes up first?
Sentaro: *opens his glowing eyes, sits up*
Edward: What in the world? *looks at his eyes* His eyes..... they look so lifeless.
Ryo: Guess he's using what's left of his power to show us where she is.
Sentaro: *eyes still glowing, stands up, draws out his blade*
Ryo: Gah! Whoa hey buddy, you wouldn't hurt you best friend, would you? *laughs nervously* If it's about me sabotaging your projects in school, I'm sorry!
Sentaro: *stabs a point on the map with his blade, eyes stop glowing, collapses on the floor*
Ryo: Whoa dude! You shouldn't beat yourself up.
Edward: Hmm... *looks at the map* It looks like your friend is somewhere near the Rocky Mountains.
Ryo: Better let Kitty know. *runs to Kitty and shakes her* Kitty, wake up!
Kitty: *wakes up, yawns* What is it, Ryo-san?
Ryo: He did it! Sentaro found your cousin's location.
Kitty: *gasps* He did?! *gets up, jumps up and down with joy* Yay, now we can go find Chita-neechan! Bella-chan, Nero-chan, wake up! Wake up!
Bella: *wakes up* What's all the excitement?
Nero: *wakes up, yawns*
Kitty: Sentaro-san found neechan!
Bella: He did?
Nero: I knew oniichan could do it!
Ryo: It seems she's near the Rockies.
Bella: That's far away.
Sentaro: *wakes up* Then it's best we leave now. *slowly gets up*
Kitty: But Sentaro-san, you need rest.
Sentaro: I'll be fine. *gets his blade, puts it back on the scabbard on his back* Let's go. *walks off, still a little shaky*
Nero: Wait up oniichan! *jumps onto Sentaro's shoulder*
Edward: I think he must rest first. If he doesn't restore his energy, he could die.
Kitty: Don't worry, I think he'll be fine. Sentaro-san wouldn't lie to us. *runs off* C'mon guys!
Ryo: Wait for us! *runs off*
Edward: *looks at Bella* Let's go. *runs off*
Bella: *blushes a little* R-Right! *runs off*
After an hour of walking on the plains....
Ryo: Hey Sentaro, once we get to the nearest town, can I jack a car so we can get to our destination faster?
Sentaro: No! The last thing we need is to be on "America's Most Wanted".
Ryo: That'd be neat! xD
Kitty: I can't wait to see Chita-neechan again! ^^
Nero: What's she like?
Kitty: She's the coolest and toughest person in the world, besides Ryuna-senpai.
Nero: Ooooh! She sounds awesome.
Kitty: Yup. ^^
Sentaro: Shh!
Kitty: Huh?
Nero: *whispers* What is it, oniichan?
Sentaro: I think we have company.
Kitty: You don't mean-?
Ryo: Yup. The Slayers are back. And it looks like they aren't gonna let us pass.
Nero: Oh no!
Ryo: How many are there, man?
Sentaro: *eyes glow* About 100. *stop glowing* It'll be easier to beat them all if we split up into three groups. Me and Ryo will take on thirty-four Slayers, Bella and Edward will get thirty-three, while Kitty and Nero will get the remaining thirty-three. If anything goes wrong, we call each other on the Sending Stones Luthor gave us.
Kitty: But what about Bella and Edward? They don't have Sending Stones.
Sentaro: I'll lend them mine, be sure to call us if anything goes wrong. *throws his stone to Bella*
Bella: *catches it, nods* Right.
Edward: Understood.
Sentaro: Nero, do you remember all the fighting lessons I taught you?
Nero: Yes, oniichan!
Sentaro: Good. We meet back here once we completed our tasks. Good luck! *runs off along with Ryo*
Kitty: C'mon Nero-chan. *runs off*
Nero: Right! *turns into his human form, follows Kitty*
Edward: Let's go!
Bella: *nods, runs off along with Edward*
The three groups split up, they each were defeating a certain number of Slayers.
Sentaro: Hey Ryo, need any help? *slashing the Slayers as they come to him, with his giant blade Setsuka*
Ryo: Heh, you should worry more about yourself. HYAH! *slicing them with his scythe Irkalla*
Elsewhere....
Edward: Bella, you doing okay back there? *throws his fan/windmill shuriken Tenma Yakuman, slashing them*
Bella: No problem. *slashes them with her two katanas Amaya and Mika*
Elsewhere...
Nero: *jumping and slashing them with his dagger Hayabusa* Take that, bad guys. *runs off to beat other Slayers*
Kitty: *attacking them with magic, using her magic staff Charlemagne* I'll be glad when this is all over. Hm? *sees one of the Slayers standing there, looking at her* Listen, I don't wanna hurt you, it's best you retreat now while you have the chance.
Slayer: *sheathes his two scimitars, runs at high speed towards Kitty*
Kitty: *gasps, screams*
Nero: Kitty? *runs to the spot where Kitty was, she wasn't there* Oh no! Kitty, where are you?!
The Slayer that kidnapped Kitty took her to a cave far from the other Slayers and her friends.
Kitty: Hey, put me down! I'm warning you, I'm a lot tougher than I look!
Slayer: *puts her down* Shh! You should be quiet. If they hear you, they'll find us.
Kitty: O_O Huh? Is this Slayer..... talking to me? Who are you?
Slayer: Oh, forgive me for my rudeness. *bows* Allow me to introduce myself. *takes off his kitsune mask, revealing a young man, with medium long white hair and brown eyes* My name is Shouta Yurei, I'm one of the few Master Slayers.
Kitty: What the-? They aren't supposed to take their masks off either. What is this guy up to?
