The world. Our universe, the Earth, our minds.
Now, that is the world, right? One could say that the whole universe is THE world, because that is where all exists and takes place. Every action we do takes place in the universe. Or one could say that THE world is Earth, as it is here we all live, love, hate and die. The only things from outside of this world that we come in contact with in some way is the Sun, the moon, some faraway stars during the night and sometimes some occasional comet that comes by every 70 years or so.
So far I am quite correct, right?
Now, what if everything is much deeper than that? What... if... THE world is in our minds?
The generally accepted laws of physics say that even time is experienced different by everyone. While this writer is thning of how to put the words together and create an understandable text for others to read, isn't then my perception of time slower or faster than by those around me? Outside right now, people are building on my tiny little house of 15 square meters. I am sure that their time is flowing faster than mine, because their minds are constantly focused on what nail to hit next and what to do after that is done. For me, I let my own mind float away into the depth of my personal knowledge. I am surrounded by sounds of saws and hammers, but I don't take notice of them. Right now I am searching for what to say and what to type down and what to ignore.
I guess I went a little too off topic now.
But the thing is, when even time itself - the most unstoppable force in the universe that eventually ends everything, but will forever live on in the darkest of nothing as It have put an end to even the stars that gives light to a world - is different for every person, than what more is different?
Every person is different, but sometimes you have the wonderful luck of finding a mental twin. I am one of the few who have had that kind of amazing luck, and I love it. It gives me reason to live most of my time.
Alright, I think I need to put the things together more before I keep going. What I meant to say is, that almost every person in this world is different from each other. The mind of every person is a world by its own. Or is it that way? What if this very world is created by all of our minds?
Now we go from physics into the less accepted world of folklore and the paranormal.
Faith is a strong thing. I could compare it to a kind of love.
Around one hundred years ago here in Sweden, the common belief was that we had vättar (Almost like goblins) that lived inside our houses and stuff. That had been seen as true for as long as humans have existed in this part of the world. These vättar were supernatural beings that were said to look like a person, but with grey clothes and a red hat. They took care of your household if you treated them nice and gave them food. If you didn't give them food, they could in worst cases set fire to your house, which isn't so nice. Hm.
But hey, how come so many believed in stuff like that? Superstition? Just... imagination? Or were they real?
Similar things exists all around the world, stories of small beings - almost being supernatural in some way - living and acting around us, being invisible mostly. Goblins, trolls, will-o-whisps, ghosts; all kinds of supernatural things, being so close to us. It was, as I said, common belief back then.
What happened to them? Are they still around, or did they for some reason disappear?
Well. Our minds. Our Collected minds, that we all share. Are we together creating the world around us? Does that mean that anything is possible? Could we learn how to make use of our minds and create again?
