Black Water



Most don't under stand it,

Most can't comprehend it,

Yet when they feel it's after effects,

They still want more,

It's dark shadowy blanket,

Wraps around you,

Giving you a false sense of security,

But then it starts hurting,

Ripping, tearing, knawing,

You want to break free,

But you can't,

You let it take you,

Capture you with it's sweet feeling,

You thought it was something warm and peaceful,

Something nice and comforting,

But then it shows it's true colors,

Like a wolf in sheeps clothing,

This dark black water,

That we call Love.





Time is a Measure of Pain



When you're hurt,

You want everything to stop,

But time still keeps going,

Prolonging your pain.

You cry for it to stop,

You yell for it to stop,

You need for it to stop,

But the measure still keeeps going.

You face the fact,

The rythem of life will never stop,

Some stop and turn around,

But walk stright back into the pain.

Time is a measure of pain,

Like the sun and the moon,

Day by day it keeps going,

But still, Time is a measure of pain.



Dark Without a Light



In the dark,

There is no light,

Only shadows of black,

We feel our way blindly,

Hoping to find a way out,

But when the darkness covers,

All is trapped.

In the light,

There is always light,

Yet even in the light,

Shadows can hide,

And darkness can wiat,

Think of your shadow,

When your walking thruogh the light,

It has every right to be there,

It is a part of you.

No light in dark,

To guide your way,

Yet shadows in light,

To follow yourself.

Dark without a light,

And dark within light.
