I have learned a valuable lesson today. Don't underestimate fish. Before today, the only fish I have encountered was lying on a bed of lettuce and covered in lemon juice.

Also, just because you are at the most easiest spot to fish, doesn't make fishing easy.

I have heard stories of all the great kinds of fish i could catch and made my way to Bass'ken Lake with high hopes. I stood, feet planted firnly on the ground, into the water. "Hmmm," I said to myself. "How do I get the fish out of the water?"

A small building not too far away caught my attention. "Hmm, a Fishing Store. Maybe I can find help there."

I opened the door and peered around it into the dim interior. It didn't look like much of a store. A few dusty cans sat sparsely on the shelves and the all held only four rods.

Suddenly a large shadow fell oer me. I looked up and up and up. A large man stood over me. My eyes widened to beyond cuteness levels, almost as if tears would begin to leak from them.

"Heya Bub." The mountain-man spoke in a gravelly voice. "Welcome to me Fishin' store. If ya want to go fishin', I recommend ya git a rod and some bait." Then he moved behind the counter.

I stepped timidly into the store, the door closed behind me and I jumped. I fidgeted with the hem of my rags nervously. "I-I would like a fishing rod, please." I said. "That is, if that is what you use to fish..."

The mountain of a man looked me over, from my bare feet to my ragged dress. "You're new here, ain't ya." He growled.

I nodded quickly, not sure what would happen if I attempted to lie.

He pulled a thin wooden pole from the wall and blew the dust off of it. He laid it gently ont he counter. "Then ya'll want to start from the b'ginnin'." He said.

I reached out to take the rod, but he clamped his hand over it. "100gold." He growled.

I quickly handed over the money, and hurried to the door, clutching my new fishing rod firmly.

"Ya'll need sum bait with that..." The owner said before I could escape the store.

I turned my head slowly and looked back. "Bait...?" I asked.
