high school orientation today and yesterday. well, technically, i went to the transition camp, and the actual orientation is tomorrow (which i'm not going to). it was okay. me and two other cool people who are also doing performance theatre created a small triad of friendship. thanks to two brief guided wanders about the school, i might be a little less lost the first day than i would've been. i know how to get to 4 of my classes (2 are in the same place, one is in a portable, and the other i both went to camp in, and is accessible from outside). the other three will be easier to reach.
i'm currentally working on a short attempt at doing stop-motion animation for the first time without guidance, and professional equipment supplied by DAC. it's also my first time working otuside claymation.
it stars two of the fruits of me-and-mom's-blind-assortment-toy-binge-extravaganza at Monkey See Monkey Do on Tuesday, some stuffed horses and unicorns that have too much emotional attachment for me to get rid of, and possibly some fragile owl and/or cat figurines.
it'll be interesting.
I've been attempting to vlog lately, and it's not going too well. my very first one was utter s**t, and my second one comments on the stop-motion project. i need to film my "first" vlog and upload it, so that i can post my craptastic ones.
school starts in a week and a half. i'm both dreading it (because it's school), and anticipating it (because i'm starting high school, and going to a fine arts academy, and i'm going to love it!). complications.....
