My OC. Her name is Yuriko.

Home Village: Land of Snow (born); Amegakure (cloned)
Current home: Mother’s home in the Land of Snow, where she lived with Deidara after she ran away; Uchiha Ancestral Home, where she took refuge shortly before and after Itachi lost his right arm; and Akatsuki HQ, which was recently rebuilt.

History: It began on a routine mission. Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki were deployed to the Land of Snow during the unforgiving winter season and were shipwrecked during a massive storm. When Akatsuki agents were sent to their rescue, they found only Kisame, who was too badly injured to continue the mission. Itachi had disappeared, and was eventually assumed deceased.
However, during the month of August, Kisame returned to the Land of Snow and discovered Itachi to be alive--drunk out of his mind and suffering severe depression, but alive--and took him back to Amegakure. Once there, Itachi revealed that he had fallen in love with a woman named Akiko Hirata, who had saved him from the harsh cold, and married her soon after. But tragedy struck when she developed terminal leukemia and died while giving birth to a stillborn child. The other members did their best to console him, but their efforts proved almost useless.
Then, one day, when he was alone in the Akatsuki HQ, Itachi discovered (and stole) a special scroll in the Leader’s chambers pertaining to cloning and recreated the child, whom he named Yuriko.
Unfortunately, shortly after Yuriko was born again, she was discovered to have optic nerve hypoplasia, which permanently blinded her. As she became accustomed to the world around her, she grew increasingly close to Deidara, and the two have since developed a romantic relationship. She normally dissociates herself with the Akatsuki, though, because of her experience with violence towards herself and her father. After Pein attempted to take advantage of her, she fled with Deidara to the Land of Snow, where they currently reside along with Itachi and Light Akira.
Personality: Shy, somewhat submissive, but is able to find friendship if she seeks it. She does not favor being handled roughly, to which she reacts by using physical violence (slapping, stomping on feet, etc.). She has quite often been known to become frustrated with her blindness, and normally resorts to breaking things when she does.
Nindo: Fights for honor, friendship, and love.
Chakra color: Purple
Demon: None
Secret jutsu: A technique of the Hirata Clan, called Poison Kiss (has not been mentioned in the RP, though it is likely to have been used against Pein)
Jutsu description: To use this technique, Yuriko exhales chakra into opponent’s lungs, tricking their brain into reacting to carbon monoxide poisoning. In effect, the opponent is smothered, but not completely suffocated.
Bloodline weapon: Sharingan
Description of bloodline: With this trait, Yuriko is able to copy or even predict an opponent’s movements and jutsu, and also--though she has not used it in the RP--can use hypnosis in forms of advanced genjutsu. She is also apparently able to use the Mangekyou Sharingan, as she was once known to have summoned Amaterasu in an attempt to survive hypothermia, and shows the potential of learning such techniques as Tsukuyomi.
There is, however, understandable difficulty in using these ocular jutsu due to her blindness.
Other: She wishes to know what it’s like to have a mother.
Best Friends: Deidara, Kakuzu, Tobi, Hidan (ally; she purposely stomped on his foot), Konan, K, Akira, Sasuke (uncle), and Itachi (father).
Enemies: Pein, Black (relation not clear; Yuriko hates him for the way he treats her), and Sasori (ridicules her for her disability; also attempted to poison her).
