PART TWELVE: DESPERATION
The bright morning sun was almost enough to blind Itachi.
Miyumi just quietly slept as her long purple hair fell in front of her eyes
He groaned out in absolute agony.
"N...n....nani.....?" Miyumi said as she rubbed her eyes
"Ugh . . . What . . . ?"
"So it wasn't a dream then.....?"
He tried to get up, but his body immediately rebelled, and he was barely able to turn away from her before getting horribly sick.
Miyumi rubbed Itachi's back as she yawned
"Miyumi . . . What happened?"
"um...er....." Miyumi said while blushing
"Oh, just say it . . ."
Miyumi sighed. "you were drunk." She then whispered "You kissed me... last night......" And by now she was so red she started to feel dizzy
"Yes . . . I remember that . . ."
"You then fell unconscious after me kissing you.... and thats all I really can explain....."
"He smiled weakly. "Well . . . Whenever I'm . . . intoxicated . . . I have a tendency to act on what is in my heart."
Miyumi then smiled and kissed his forehead. "well then thats good to hear then"
"So how is Yuriko?"
"shes starting to recover....."
He stared at her, confused. "Recover . . . ?"
"you didn't know what pein baka did to her.....?"
He shook his head.
"He beat her......." Miyumi said while looking away from him
"What?!"
"Itai....." Miyumi said as she covered her ears
"He wanted me to lock her away . . . I never imagined . . . He promised me she wouldn't be harmed!"
"And you believe pein of all people....."
"He never lied to me before!"
"please don't yell... my ears are kind of sensitive...." Miyumi said as she pointed at her wolf ears
Itachi clenched his fists, his fingers causing his palms to bleed, though he didn't seem to notice.
"Baka! You shouldn't do that!" Miyumi said as she glared at him
He wasn't hearing her.
"ITACHI!!!"
He didn't even flinch.
"If you don't respond to me soon...." Miyumi said as her eyes were shadowed by her long bangs in an evil way
His entire body was trembling madly.
"Itachi kun...." Miyumi said now worried as she placed a hand on his shoulder
". . . I give up . . ."
"Nani...?"
". . . I see no point in living . . ."
"Don't say such things!!!!"
". . . She cannot love me now . . . or ever again . . ."
"Tell Yuriko why you did it!! Your her father! She will understand!...." Miyumi said as her bangs covered her eyes
"No . . ."
"B..b...b...baka....!...y....you...s....still...have...p...people.....w....who...care...a...about...y...you...!" Miyumi said as her shoulder started to tremble as she backed away from Itachi
"Name one person!"
"I DO!!!" Miyumi said as she fell to her knee's as her shoulder's started to tremble even more
He gasped, then turned to stare at her. "What . . . ?"
"I s...said I...I...d...do.....!"
He was about to speak when Hidan opened the door with a bang. "Miyumi! Yuriko's in trouble!"
"NANI?!" Miyumi yelled as she got to her feet as she looked at Hidan with clear blue tears flowing down her face
"She was coughing up blood and now she can't breathe!"
Miyumi then ran through the door and towards where Yuriko was.
"Yuriko chan!" Miyumi yelled as she ran into Yuriko's room
Yuriko was trying hard to draw breath, but it was almost impossible. She only gasped when she tried to call for Deidara.
Deidara then ran into Yuriko's room. "Whats going on?! I saw Miyumi run in!"
Her mouth had blood all around it, and some of it was still stuck in her throat.
"What in the world happened...." Miyumi said as some left over tears fell as she sat down beside Yuriko
Deidara then started to panic not knowing what to do
"Miyumi . . . help . . ." Yuriko whispered.
"I think I know what to do..." Miyumi said as she opened Yuriko's mouth and started to suck out the blood first
Yuriko eventually lost consciousness.
Miyumi then grabbed her pendent and then placed it against Yuriko's chest as it glowed light purple from her chakra
" What in the world....?" Deidara muttered surprise as he sat down beside Miyumi as he ran his fingers through Yuriko's hair
She still did not wake.
"Be quiet... Im trying not to kill her and myself...!" Miyumi muttered
Deidara then went quiet, too scared to say a word.
Miyumi started to grow weak as she continue to use her chakra. "Come on... Just a little more....." Miyumi muttered as she then started to cry from the pain she was getting. "Done..." Miyumi said as blood then started to run down her mouth as she then fell with a loud thud
"HIDAN!!!!" Deidara yelled not knowing what to do
Yuriko still did not open her eyes.
Hidan picked up Miyumi gently and lay her down on another bed.
"Bring me back to her... Im not done yet baka...." Miyumi said as she opened her eyes
"You've done what you can!"
"No I havn't...!"
"No." Hidan sighed. "We have to get her to a hospital. A good one. And fast."
"Just give me 5 minutes more with her...!"
"Are you insane?! You almost killed yourself back there!"
"No I am not insane! Please Hidan! 5 more minutes!!!" Miyumi said with begging eyes
He sighed and shook his head. "I guess I can't stop you . . ."
"Arigato!" Miyumi said as she got up and walk towards where Yuriko was.
"Just be careful."
Miyumi then sat down beside Yuriko again as she then took out her pendent again but this time she took a knife and sliced her finger and let her blood flow onto the pendent as she gave a weird chant the pendent went deep purple
Hidan suddenly seemed startled. "Wait . . ."
"shh...." Miyumi mutter as she also did a weird hand sign
He approached Yuriko and examined her for a moment. "What does this mean? Do you know?" He pointed to her ear, which was leaking blood.
"No I don't... Im just using my chakra to pushed the blood out... and then I need to use it again to look inside of her.... us witches have our advantages!"
"I don't think your heathen magics are gonna help this one." He picked her up slowly. "There's a hospital not far from here. I'm taking her there."
But Miyumi's pendent glowed brighter as it then broke into pieces as Miyumi eyes then went white as she fell to the ground with a weird glow to her
Hidan put Yuriko down and tried to go to Miyumi's side, but his hand was suddenly, and severely, scalded, causing him to instantly recoil. "Aah!"
"What in the world?!" deidara gasped.
"Aah . . . I've never seen this magic before . . . but I've read about it . . ."
"What did it say?...."
"It's way too complicated, you wouldn't understand."
"It can't be that complicated!"
"Oh, trust me, it can."
"...Fine... but what should we do?! She looks dead!!!!"
The pendent then started to turn into a snake as it slithered towards Miyumi
He handed Deidara a folded paper. "You worry about Yuriko. Follow this map and get her to the hospital. I'll worry about Miyumi."
"Hai!" Deidara then took the map and picked up Yuriko and ran out the door
The snake hissed at Hidan as it then made a high pitch noise
"Oww!" The sound hurt his sensitive ears.
"Oi... What did the baka do this time....?" A black cat then jumped into the room
The snake just hissed again as it wrapped it self around Miyumi's neck.
Hidan looked at the cat. "AAHHH!!! NEKOMATA!!!" he shouted, alarmed, and held his rosary at it, his hand trembling in fright.
"Oh your afraid of a talking cat? thats just plain weak! If you do not mind I will be taking my master away from you weak ninjas!"
"BACK!!! BACK, FELL BEAST!!!"
The cat sighed as he then took out a stone and hit Hidan in the head so he would be knock out as he started to drag Miyumi out of the house
Hidan lay on the ground, out cold. "Oooh . . . lookit all the pretty colors . . ."
"Heh heh... Baka...." Rai said as he continue to drag Miyumi out of the house
