Suki's Journal- A Dragon's Eye View
A collection of random writings, including my Hellsing fanfiction, Darkness and Light. It also has a few Dream Avis I made when I was bored. ._.
Self-Pity
Suki sat cross-legged on the ground, rubbing her temples, violet eyes closed. After a moment, she dropped her hands, lifted her head, and groaned into the night. "Gaaah, my life can be so damn frustrating..."
An impish voice snickered from a nearby tree. "If I'm going on context clues, I'd have to guess someone beat you again!"
Suki sighed and glared up into the green canopy above her. "Go away, Kyprii," She told the voice irritably. "I am busy sulking."
"That's a nice statement," Kyprii said scornfully, and you could just hear her eyes rolling. "I thought you were over your zombie stage! Don't condemn me to life with a zombie for a friend again!"
Suki snorted, violet eyes dubious. "Don't worry, Kyprii," She said dryly. "I don't plan on doing that again. It was just a moment of weakness, that's all." She turned back around and pointedly ignored the Demigoddess.
But the Demigoddess did not like being ignored, and she leapt down from the treetops to land behind the dragon hanyou. She bonked Suki lightly on the head. "You never answered my question, Suki! You got beat again, didn't you?"
She was repaid with a whack to the head several times harder than her own, leaving her on the ground with a large bump on her scalp. "Owwwww," she complained.
Suki gazed into the forest reflectively. "Yeah, if you must know, I got beat again. Easily. That is not what I am sulking over, though."
Kyprii frowned at her, rubbing her head. "Jeez, that's a shocker," She said sarcastically. "So what in Kami's name are you sulking over, then??"
Suki gazed up at the moon through the trees, folding her arms, ears flat back- A trademark gesture of irritation. "I always manage to do something wrong," She murmured. "I always make some kind of mistake. Always. I am doomed to a life of messing up anything I touch. And I am getting fed up with it." She let out a long, exasperated sigh.
Kyprii sat cross-legged through her little rant, an indifferent expression on her face as she scratched Dekobou's head with one finger. The little fox spirit purred his pleasure. Chame whined in a complaining tone, so Kyprii scratched his head with her other hand. "Is this about the creepy vampire dude?" She asked flatly. A slight shudder went through her as it did every time she said the word 'vampire'. She didn't appear to notice anymore.
Suki rolled her eyes at Kyprii's phrasing. "Not just the 'creepy vampire dude,' " She made little air quotes with her hands as she said this in a dry voice, "But Myou, too. And the person who is continuing to stalk me is irritating, as well. Plus-"
"Okay, okay," Kyprii interrupted her. "So basically you're getting on people's nerves."
Suki's violet eyes flashed at that, and she looked into the forest musingly, frowning. "I don't know," She murmured. "Sure as heck seems like that." Her lip curled slightly back over her gleaming white, razor-sharp teeth. "Of course, I couldn't care less what the stalker thinks of me. She can go jump off a cliff for all I care."
Kyprii snickered at the thought, then looked at Suki with an impish smirk. "So what if you get on people's nerves sometimes, Suki?" She said cheerfully. "They'll get over it, probably. I get on people's nerves all the time! It's actually pretty darn fun!" She snickered gleefully, probably getting an idea for yet another prank.
Suki's mouth twitched into a slight smile at Kyprii's philosophy. "Nice, Kyprii," She said wryly. "Real nice..."
Kyprii grinned. "I know, isn't it? Now if you'll excuse me, I've got innocent people to prank!" She snickered delightedly again and sprung to her feet, Dekobou and Chame floating by her shoulders and purring their eagerness. "See ya!" She leapt onto a tree branch, then sprung to another, then was out of sight.
Suki rolled her eyes at the Demigoddess's pastime. After a moment, she sighed and rose as well. Ah, well, she thought to herself wryly. She paced off into the trees, dissappearing into the brush.

(For those of you who are actually reading this, Kyprii is over at my house today and insisted on getting a starring role in my journal.
Kyprii- ~Snickers~ Of course! I'm a Demigoddess: I love the limelight! X3)
