Today was a bit more colorful than yesterday.

Song of the Day...Sidewalks, by Story of the Year

Status: sleepy

I ended up with quite a bit of work today. Well, it's actually not that much, but being a procrastinator and what-not, in my case, it will be a lot by the end of this week.

I got to school this morning pretty early again at like 7:40. I met Sharlene and we went to Dunkin Donuts where she bought juice. xD Then we skipped are way back to school....whee! whee

After that we went and talked to Hera and her friend for a bit. Then I found Salma and I asked her about why she wasn't in Math class yesterday. She had to leave early for a reason she didn't mention, but she was here today.

So then Salma dragged me around the crowd of people to greet all the Momos. ^^ Then I came across Michael and I made him tell me Japanese things for a while. xD After that, I called Lindah to find her. She was at the benches down by the 2008 senior grafitti again, so I went over there. Karen was super happy that I was wearing the bracelet that she gave me for my birthday yesterday! And I love it! You rock, Karen!

So, I talked to Stivaly, Lindah, Vivian and Sitara for a while. And before you know it, the bell rings. Yes. Even for the people that get there an hour early.

So, I went in with Lindah and hung out outside of her homeroom (a door down and across from mine) until the late bell rang. We talked about the usual...I cracked the shortie jokes, while she tried to figure out how I could text on my phone.

Inside, homeroom was the usual. I still haven't gathered the courage to talk to the lonesome brown haired girl who I think is Janie...what if I say "Hi Janie!" and then she's like "Uh...my name's not Janie..." That would be really awkward. Almost as awkward as yesterday when Nancy and I temporarily switched seats to sit behind her so we could talk to her, but ended up not saying anything.

But today we didn't really make an attempt. We just talked and played hangman and other little games like pictionary. Tomorrow we plan to play charades. And Nancy suggested we play with Janie...or the girl who I think is Janie. That wouldn't be weird , right, if a couple of girls came up to you and randomly asked you to play charades with them, would it?

Anyway, after homeroom, first thing of course was English. Whee. Mr. Hannon's turning out to be an alright teacher. Unfortunately, he takes work very seriously so I'm worried that he'll take off points for something like the forgetting the quotes around the title of the short story or including the author's name when he didn't tell us to. T___T On the plus side, I actually participated once today. It's probably best that I make the "good student" impression on him in the first week, so he doesn't expect more later.

After English, was...oh joy...Global. Mr. Barbour (pronounced barber) ir great and all, but we have yet to start doing things. I sat with Christie today, by the way. She has Music Appreciation, so no chance of her having ninth free. But she does have the same lunch period as me. I would have tried to find her with Nancy but it was way too hot outside. *pats down frizzing hair*

So, next up was Chemistry. Oh joy! My crappiest class so far! Mr. Jacobs is really nice, but he's pretty boring for the most part. But I don't think it's him that much...I blame the lack of AC. No wait, it is him. I blame him for not turning on the ACs! Anyway, there are hardly any girls in my Chem class, not that it really matters. There's Emily of course.

After Chemistry was day 1 of...Gym. ^^ I have Gym with Emily since we're in Chemistry together so yay. Since we pretty much did absolutely nothing, we just talked a lot. She told me a lot about Speech club...team...or whatever they're called. It's really interesting. There are a bunch of different categories of speech ranging from acting multiple characters, to synchronizing with a partner, to reading poetry and prose. =) If I weren't such a shy little munchkin (well...i'm about 5'6", but i can still be a munchkin rite?), I might actually compete.

After Gym, I had Lunch, so me and Nancy had fun hanging around the library. We had fun just talking in the fiction room, but then Ms. Lampach kicked us out. xD So then I showed Nancy my little hidden corner where I used to go last year when I felt like ditching my friends 4th period and writing. =]

Next was Tech Drawing. Allah, the AC feels sooo good in there! I sat with Sitara. I'm not sure if Mr. Rabel will even assign seats because he questioned a couple of guys sitting together because they're noisy, but he didn't actually make them move. He only suggested it. He seems pretty nice. =) Okay, fine. I just like the seating arrangements and the AC, but I bet he'll turn out to be awesome as soon as class really starts. We didn't do anything today. Actually, all we did was take attendance and then get free time. xD So, Sitara and I just talked about our religions and then we talked about...hah...General Hospital. Weird. I know so much about it just by watching Amma watch it. xD

I think that period felt pretty long, even though it was one of the best. =]

Next was good old Latin! We did that game that I played way back before freshman year where you get people to sign a chart by whatever applies to them. Only two applied to me. xD I went to a museum over the summer and I read hte Twilight series. Omt, right?

After Latin was Math. Math, thank Allah, also has a nice refreshing AC on! I sit next to Corrine again. Just like last year with Mr. Eng! ^^ Amy isn't here this year though. xD Or Sera. Or everyone else, for that matter. But Barbara is in my class. Not sure where she's sitting though...Salma came today. =] We learned about numbers basically. Just the different kinds and the symbols for them. We also learned about that thing Emran showed me about how 0.9 to the infinity is equal to one.

Eventually, Math came to an end, so I was off to meet Amy, Lindah and Priya in the library. We went out and Lindah and I bought a handball, but unfortunately, come 9th period, there are no available courts. And every wall was taken too. xP We went down to a randon parking area across the street from the bridge, and me and Lindah played for a few minutes against a vacant wall between two cars. xD What fun lol. Actually, we were meaning to explore a little playground right next to the parking area, but it was locked. T___T

Anyway, eventually, Priya and Amy left. I would have taken the 26 home but Lindah convinced me to wait around while she tried to yell "Hi" to Amandeep. xD Then she convinced me to walk to her home and just take the 28, so it would seem that I ended up taking the long way home. xD

IT WAS SO HOT OUTSIDE. WHY IS IT THIS HOT IN SEPTEMBER! T___T

After I got home, I intended to do namaz, but I let Amma watch General Hospital first and I ended up getting pretty sleepy and lazy. So I kind of just sat there after she left and prayed like 40 minutes later. I did get it dome though, and that's what counts right?

So then I actually did fall asleep for a bit. And I woke up craaanky.

I prayed again and I talked to Amy about the English hw and about me becoming illegal so I can get 97s instead of 93s. xD She does have a point though...suppose I did do my hw early...I would have more time for anime and manga wouldn't I?
