Well I saw Phantom of the Opera again! The Las Vegas show definably has more glitz than the Broadway show, and both kick the movie's a** a million times over. If you want to see Phantom of the Opera SEE it on Broadway OR Las Vegas, the movie PALES in comparison to the live shows, PALES! And also the movie totally cut out a whole line of song in the Phantom theme. Its true!
I am a BIG fan of Hot Rods, 1920-1969 clothes and culture, and Bettie Page. SO when I found out there was a Bettie Page store in Planet Hollywood Casino and Hotel, I freaked out, and I mean FREAKED! Its the only Bettie Store in the world too! I wish I could fit in the vintage inspired outfits, but I am short and...well not as busty. But I got a great book and Bettie Page artwork by Olivia. It costly me all my money, but it was SO worth it. FYI, Bettie Page is the Most Famous PinUp Girl of the 40s-50s, she found God, became a nun, sister runs the business, B.P. still makes appearances in California and signs pictures, all money goes to charity. Now thats using your talent! biggrin
Oh and BEFORE I left for Las Vegas, I went to the George Barris Car Show near my home. I saw the Original 1960's Show BATMOBILE, KnightRider's Original KITT, 2 General Lees, the ASTON MARTIN from GOLDFINGER, the cars from XXX, and the GHOSTBUSTER WAGON! Mr. Barris is a very busy man, but very nice! I Also saw Eddie Muster I got both their autographs! I just so happy!
