Chapter 6
The wind swirled around me, forcing me onward. Maybe I should go check on the caribou… I tried turning, but a huge wind forced me into the waves. I put my wings around me and held on… it was another hurricane. I shivered and forced my eyes shut. I was tossed around like a ragdoll, hoping the horror would end. As suddenly as it had come, it was gone. I stumbled onto the shore, hacking up water.
A black and white bird stared at me intently. “Eh? It’s too warm for penguins here… where ARE we?” The penguin squawked. “A twisted part of Antarctica?” it responded with another squawk. A stranger creature slid down to us, scaring the penguin. “Hi there, could you please tell me…” the snake ate the penguin. A larger bird trotted up and ate the snake. My eyes widened. A large cat ripped the ostrich to shreds. I fainted.
