Detective Hoffman and Agent Strahm clash as they each investigate the apparent continuation of the Jigsaw murders.
The Saw series isn't nearly as interesting without Jigsaw, but it's getting harder and harder to find ways to include him in increasingly-desperate sequels. - Screen International
Even the most die-hard of Saw fans won’t credit how tedious, lame and pointless this fourth sequel manages to be. - TimeOut
I predict in Saw VI that Jigsaw will be punishing people for tilting pinball machines, loving their children too much, and driving in the carpool lane unaccompanied. - Film Threat
The latest and least of the Saw films is just plain boring and even a little tame -- albeit by the standards of a genre that helped bring the phrase "torture porn" into the lexicon. - New York Times
Every time I watch one of these movies, I chastise myself each time for doing so. Each sequel is proportionately worse that the one that came before it and this is no different.
Many promises were made during the release hype, and only a very small fraction of these were true. Yes, there is some more back story to tie up some of the many loose ends that the films have created, but it is failing to understand that the more stories it tells, the more difficult it is to complete any of them to any degree of satisfaction.
Yet again have I wasted another hour and a half of my time on this awful drivel. We have now solved the problem of Jigsaw's death, but showing 'back-story'. More unimaginative torture scenes make the lack of credible plot even worse than it already is
People please, stop going to see this dire, dire rubbish and then a message will be sent to the makers to NOT DO THIS ANYMORE.
