I love writing and reading. My genre is fantasy, but I can read whatever. I've lately taken an interest to philosophy (it's kinda weird, all my friends look at me like "what in the world are you thinking when you read those books?"
wink . I'm a quick reader and I read alot. It's one of my hobbies I guess ... Now I like to buy books, just to be able to reread them and consult them... well more than that, really... I've completed my first novel, but it isn't published yet. I'm still in the process of correcting...
I'm interested in design and I'm now through the process of mastering about CSS (I've sort of master at HTML). I'm trying to do what I think we call "Transcending CSS". I'm trying to seperate the content and the style (cause I've done web layouts before, but with the style in the content). So that's why I've got a gaia profile done, because that's what I'm practicing. I don't know much about CSS2 and above (partly because CSS can offer enough for me and partly because browser support is a little of hassle to worry about). I also am in the process of learning JavaScript, but for now, it serves just as simple tools HTML and CSS can't offer. Other than coding, I love to do graphism and CG. My art is not the best, but I still got some very nice stuff going. Let's just say I'm getting better at it (though I need practice...)

But I don't come by all the time, because I'm more occupied with other stuff. I've pretty much shown most of my friends this site, and was shown by my sister (though I admit I've seen tektek before via an rpg forum.)
I'm not fond of chatting, so I rarely go on forums... I prefer not having to see all those responses and passing my time trying to read. And I avoid huge and popular threads. When it comes to forums, I prefer those rpg forums (not on gaia) where my talents and interests in writing and reading come in hand (the ones where you've got to post a certain number of lines). So you rarely see me on forums. I am a big booty grabber though, so you may happen to come across me in the Aquarium forum (I
always bump grab threads, if there are). I prefer sticking to profiles.
Profiling isn't something that I've done for a long time. I've tried to do it for a while, but I didn't understand what it was exactly until recently. And still, I haven't perfectionned my CSS coding. (I learned about CSS when I first discovered web layouts, which means they were only served to style the text and such, not the page.)

wink . That's the last part. The "May" part isn't like the month... It's divided like so: "Ma-yelle" and not "May-elle" ... So you have to pronounce the "a" right... If you don't know french, well think of the word "bell" and that's what it resembles.
"Mayelle" is a nickname that comes from "Amayelle", a character from a book. I was rpging this character, so one of the other users started calling me "Mayelle". It stuck. (That's Nayekh). Everyone who doesn't know me out of the web calls me Mayelle. (I don't like how it sounds outloud really... It's wrong...)
"Mayelle" is also the name of the main character of my novel. I'm very careful about that. I respond (in written form, someone calling "Mayelle" aloud is strange) to that name, yes, but I also have a big distinction with my character, who is very different from me.
