Wizards this year was kind of crappy. Supposedly because they had morphed it with “Fearfest Con” this year, it was supposed to be ten times larger than last year…. This year it was like, ten times smaller. Apparently the “Fear Con” turned people off that didn’t like the idea of that, and there weren’t a whole lot of “eastern” style(ex: manga, anime, Asian stuff like tea, clothes…. etc) stuff there. It was mainly western and T-shirt stands. (IT was more for an older crowd this year than it was last year, and I’m sooooo pissed because I could’ve bought a volume of Cyborg 009, but my dad told me to wait till this year…. And I couldn’t find it….. *growls*)

There were a few highlights though…. There was this guy there, that I swear I’ve seen before somewhere, that was selling a lot of dragon stuff, I mean, he had figurines out the wazoo! And he had a lot of chopsticks and tea sets. XD

I bought most of my stuff from him. 3 pairs of chopsticks, a sketchbook, and a bronze dragon. ^w^ (he didn’t even charge me for the chopsticks.)

The guy next to him was selling hand made katanas…. They were some nice blades, but the prices were totally jacked up and outrageous. He had a really nice one though, but he called it “simple” just because it was a short, light weight, balanced, blade with a damaged sheath.

I kept wanting to call it “lotus” but we didn’t buy it….. IT felt really natural though, and my hand was tingling the rest of the day. >. > …. <. < …. >. > (he wanted 400$ for it, and he didn’t even /make/ it, he just assembled it from a kit.)


I did buy myself a hat though. It’s cute, and practical! It’s a little black and red rabbit head with ears that go down to my knees that act like a scarf. ^w^

I was going to get a teddy bear one, but the rabbit was more practical. I will never lose a scarf again. XD



OH! There was also this awesome guy by the name of Tone. He was really nice to our group, and drew us free stuff while everyone else around him in the Artist Corner was charging like, ten dollars a sketch.

He drew me Link from the LoZ Twilight Princess, and it’s EPIC I tell you, EPIC. He did such a good job with it! ((All I had to do was get him a reference picture, so I went and bought a t-shirt at one of those stands. XD ))
