FLASHBACK--TEN YEARS BEFORE...
Haruno Sakura leaned against a tree, panting slightly. She'd had to heal several hunter-nins today using the Shosen no Jutsu. She glanced to her right to notice Uchiha Sasuke, leaning casually against a tree. He inhaled quietly, looking amused slightly. He deflected a kunai almost boredly, then used a Goukakyuu no Jutsu to incinerate the attacking ninja. He exhaled slightly as stragglers began running away from them and several others. Sakura noticed a pair that were quite familar to her heading towards them.
Hyuuga Hinata and her sister Hanabi landed on a branch a few feet away. "The last of the attacking Kumohagakure hunter-nins are leaving the battlefield," Hanabi reported. Sakura inhaled. She was glad that the fighting was over and ending. She heard a faint sound to the right a few yards from a fallen tree. Hinata inhaled sharply as she activated the Byakugan. "There's something there," she said. Sakura inhaled as she dropped down to ground level, lifting the log with her chakra enhanced strength. She gasped as she found a ragged blanket with a olive skinned baby who had dark gray eyes.His hair was a dark blue-green, almost black.
Sakura inhaled softly as she carefully lifted the baby clear. She decided to protect this orphan and take it back to Konohagakure with her.
