PRESENT DAY--
Jaice stood in the woods a half mile outside the village of Konohagakure with his teammates Kenrai Aburame and Fuuma Inazuka. "What is so special about this thing?" he murmured. His dark gray eyes narrowed at the sensation of massive energy within the crystalline marble. Whatever he held, it'd have to wait. He and the other two had to get back. They were going to meet their assigned sensei in half an hour.
He chuckled as he stowed it in his belt pouch with his tools. Fuuma looked amused. "Startled Kenrai again?" he said quietly. Fuuma just snickered. Kenrai rolled her eyes, then spoke. "Let's just go already," she said in a tenor voice. "Race you!!" Fuuma yelled, grabbing up the half wolf, half dog pup in his arms and dashing towards the village. "I thought Naruto was hyper," Jaice heard Kenrai say under her breath. They began running after Fuuma.
The trio reached the walls of Konohagakure within seven minutes. Jaice fished out the marble again. Energy crackled around it, reacting to his chakra. A flare of light engulfed him as Kenrai and Fuuma looked back in surprise. He stood there in a strange body armor, midnight blue and silver. "Oookay," Jaice said. "What the heck did you do?" Fuuma said. "Just looked at the thing, the next thing I knew it felt like a surge of lightning hit me." Jaice said. Chakra gathered around his hands. "There is a technique I once came up with, but it might be destructive," he muttered. "Then let's see it," a voice cut in. Ino stood atop a building as they entered the village. A training dummy was a few yards away. "All right," Jaice murmured. He tensed his arms, focusing chakra within his hands. "Spiral Fang Blast!!" he snarled, shoving forward with his hands. A bolt of fire energy shot out of his hands, forming into a flaming panther's head. The blasts spiraled around one another, forming and merging into the main burst. The dummy exploded with a shuddering burst of heat and smoke. Ino nodded slightly. "Interesting technique," she murmured.
