So, I nabbed this nifty OC list whilst lurking, and, as I'm a nut for OC lists, I thought I'd fill ya'll in on the "Official" story behind Fail. In lazy-person list form!

Real Name: Fai Singehoof

Aliases: "Singe", "Horse-butt" or just "Fai"

Former Aliases: Francis McMillan.

Occupation: Merchant of Arcane goods, Hired Hand.

Legal Status: Transient.

Identity: Known to any and all who ask.

Marital Status: Single.

Known Relatives: James and Mary McMillan, (Parents), Extended McMillan family. Honorary member of the Singehoof Tribe.

Base of Operations: Barton, East River District; (We'll assume this exists.) Bass'ken Lake.

Group Affiliation: Singehoof Tribe (Centaurs)/ Works with the Barton Regulars from time-to-time.

Former Group Affiliation: Durem University. (Teacher for 6 years, research funded by school board)

Origin: Born Human, transformed into Centaur.

Height: 6'6
Hair: Silver
Build: Average human-half, on the athletic side. Horse half is muscular, for... horse... halves. Yeah.
Weight: 400 Pounds... ish? Dunno horse-weight.
Eyes: Blue.
Skin: Tan.
Age: 27
Other: Draconic runes running along left arm and on chest, as well as on the right shoulder. They look pretty, but don't symbolize a damn thing.

Known Powers/Abilities:
Keen Wit:
A scholar originally, he has a knack for quick calculations, snap decisions, and planning under pressure. Intelligence is above average, though, his sarcasm is his Achilles heel. He is best suited for intelligence gathering, tactical analysis, and snarky sass-i-tude.

Seeing Double:
Born of human mother but trained in the ways of the Centaur, Fai has a great understanding and proficiency in weapons training and use. If it shoots, stabs, whacks, burns, eviscerates, or otherwise makes people hurt, chances are, he knows how to use it.

Dude looks like a Centaur:
Like his kin, Fai is swift, hardy, and physically tough. He is most at home in nature, and has been, even in the days long before his transformation, and, as such, is a talented scout and explorer.

Limitations: Though a friendly and somewhat good-natured fellow, Fai tends to be arrogant and snarky, with quite a problematic streak of trouble with proper social interaction. Physically, he is, though tough, not as robust as some, and, thanks to his lower half's unique structure, unable to wear the body armor necessary to most direct combat. With a mind in the books and a butt without armor, he tends to take a support role, both in combat, and in social scenarios, letting people do the talking for him in every subject but the raw details, lest his fiery tongue get him into trouble.

Brief History: Born Francis McMillan, Fai was a respected (Albeit unorthodox) researcher with Durem University's Archaeology wing, until his hasty nature and impatience ultimately backfired on him, culminating in his unfortunate transformation into one of the equine set. Finding his work increasingly harder to keep up with in his new form, he drifted for a time, before settling in with (And eventually becoming a member of) the Singehoof Centaur tribe. Though respectful to his new kin, he spends most of his time doing freelance work on his own, his natural curiosity overriding any long-term commitments.

Notes: Though he won't admit it, Fai has a weak spot for all the usual Centaur vices; Babes, booze, and b-uh-carrots-and-sugar-cubes. Though he claims this is a side effect of the transformation, other sources claim this was always his issue.
