We won the playoff game! I think this next game is the semi-finals. If we win this, we're going to state! Except we're going against the #1 team in the state, so that'll be tough. We're capable of winning, though.
Yesterday I went bowling with my youth group. Since we all sucked at bowling, we decided to do something new. We were going to put up the bumpers and see who could get the lowest score. But, they wouldn't let us put up bumpers because we're not young enough. So, we did the lowest score thing, but gutterballs counted as 10 points, since that's cheating. I got second....or second to last....or whatever. Stupid gutter balls.
We only played one game before we headed over to the arcade. I played a couple games, but my attention was diverted by those little quarter machines that have random stuff in them. One of them had miniature monkeys in them. I thought they were cute, so I popped in a quarter and got a little monkey that was doing the "rock on" sign and has his little tongue sticking out. Kelsey saw it and was like "awww, I want a rock on monkey," so we started putting in quarters in an attempt to get another rock on monkey. It was difficult, because there was like monkeys in 20 different poses. Eventually, we used up all our quarters and still hadn't found another rock on monkey, so I just gave mine to Kelsey and she gave me a monkey who was standing on his head.
So, now I have 10 monkeys. That's $2.50 right there. At least they're cute. They live on top of my TV now. Maybe I'll edit in a picture of them later. If I get a picture, I'll mention it in one of my later journals.
We're shooting a mini-movie in Theatre Arts. They had to be Christmas themed, so me, Katie, Caleb, Kelly(he's a guy), Georgeanne, and Amy collaborated and came up with a masterpiece. Oh, and Amber filmed it.
Caleb played Santa, Amy and Georgeanne played bodyguards, and Kelly, Katie and I played the interrogaters. Here's how it goes:
There's a random cake on a table, and Santa sees it. He goes to the cake and starts to eat it, then Amy and Georgeanne(they're hiding underneath a bench) jump out and start whacking him with a pipe and baseball bat. Then, Georgeanne and Amy bring him inside a room and sit him on a chair. The interrogaters are sitting behind a long table, and Santa's sitting on a chair in front of them. Then we're talking to him, and asking him stuff, and Santa's like "What are you talking about? My name's Frank. I work at the mall, I don't live at the North Pole." Then we interrogaters each ask him where our presents are. Katie's all like, "I remember, it was 10 years ago, on a cold night-no snow- but it was still cold. I was drinking hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows. Lots and lots of marshmallows. And I saw on TV, they were advertising a race track with blue and green cars. Blue and green! I wrote you an 8 page letter asking for those cars, Santa. Where are they?" Then, Katie sits down, and says it's my turn, so I (I'm the violent kid) jump up on the table and I'm like "WHERE ARE MY G.I. JOES?? I was gonna plan battle strategies with them! And you couldn't even get me those little green soldiers that cost like 2 friggin' cents! I had war plans! GIVE ME G.I. JOES. AND AN AK-47, AND A SNIPER RIFLE! CONFEDERATES FOR THE WAR!!!! Then I sit down, and Kelly(who's the calm one) talks.
He goes, "Santa, where''s my Easy Bake Oven and my pretty pink pony named Fluffy?" Santa's all like "I'm not sure of your sexuallity, but...." and me and Katie are like "are you calling him gay??" Which starts another shouting match. Then Santa's all "okay, okay, I'll get you an Easy Bake Oven, but I'm not sure about the pony...They only pay me minimum wage at the mall." And Katie's like "you live at the North Pole, you could give him a reindeer!" And we're yelling some more, and Kelly's all "I'm getting a pony, and it's nametag better say 'Fluffy.'" Um, then we stopped shooting for the day.
It's alot funnier when you actually see it, but, yeah.
