Cye frowned as one of the soldiers suddenly turned on its friends, killing them with relish. Rohan kicked a spear from the grip of one soldier as the girl hurled a large throwing star into its chest. The woman still standing on the rooftop looked focused on something, her hands held as if in prayer.
Jaice recognized the technique Ino-sensei was using, her Shintenshin no Jutsu. She was manipulating the soldiers, and counting on them to keep the soldier she was using as a dummy to remain unharmed. There were only a half dozen left, and Ino seemed to know that her assistance wasn't really needed for the moment as Jaice flexed his hands and forearms. He kicked one high into the air, peppering it with shuriken as it fell.
