Bringing Christmas Joy
As silly as it sounds, a person like me giving cheer at this time of the year is actuilly very rare. I have a hard enough time smiling at any other part of the year, but to look around my city or area to see everyone else more gloomy then me actuilly started to bother me... in a weird way. As I added up the possible results to the changes, I only had one result added up, and that was becouse no one remembered the true meaning of Christmas. True, the government made it to where nobody had money, which was the main cause of the doom-and-gloom-attitude, but that alone shouldn't be the reason to forget... and myself, i decided to take a stand. I dug though my desk, and found my neglected Santa hat... then dug though my trench coat collection until i discovered my red one. Though the bitter cold, and rain, i went out of my house on a mission to spread the Christmas cheer!

All day i wore my makeshift Santa outfit, going to places like small convent stores as a warm-up to see if i was doing the right thing by the sudden change... and seeing as the outfit had cheered up the couple people who were looming around, i decided to hit the bigger areas of town: Walmart, McDonalds, Walgreens, and more. I lingered the longest in Walmart, personally talking to select few people who looked as though they were down in their luck; with a successful cheer up. In under half-an-hour, i managed to brighten up five peoples lives a little more. I even explained the astrology chart to one of the people to see if their liking of pigs could bring them more good luck; that which they were very pleased to hear that their collection could grant them more then they could imagine. However that's just one person. Just simply talking to them brightened most of their days, purely becouse they felt like if they belonged somewhere. To a degree, that made me feel good; but I wanted to do something more. I never really found it till tonight when i went to Chinese.

Normally I tease the owners about them "remembering me" before I even sit down. I suppose they might get tired of that sometimes, but it makes up for it when i help assist their children in their daily lives and what not. Here little Andy decided to rush in on my table and asked me to help him draw a picture after giving him a sheet of stickers. On the back we drew a picture of santa coming down the chimney, in a house that had a very odd variety of pets, and the five-year-olds humor streak of having Santas butt on fire as one of the last add-on's. However when the picture was done, and he was ready to show it to his parents, i stopped him for a moment and took off a special lapel from my hoodie, and pinned it to the boys wrist cuff. With the child being surprised by the sudden gift, I ended up receiving a hug from the little guy just before I left the restaurant. Somehow, giving up one of my sky demon air pirates badges to the little one made me feel better about my dressing up as Santa; even though i had about twenty more at home in a box waiting for me.

As an ending note, i left money on the table, becouse with how often i'v been there, i knew that it was little Andy's job to collect what little tips they get. I'm just glad that my plan of cheering people up this year is working, and i plan to do the exact same tomorrow, until Christmas has passed... after it does, i'd have to think of something else until then. XD
