Sky
I'm hoping that i can write my book, Sky, in here, but i'm not really sure, this is my first time ^.^
Sky chapter 20
Chapter 20
Kisa
My eyes glistened as I heard the beautiful word. “Ngorongoro.” Shishou whispered.
“Yuki, we’re finally here!” Yuki glanced at me and flashed a smile. Dannen looked uncomfortable in her arms. “Going down!” I winked at Shishou and he paled instantly. Dannen seemed just as white, even with his mottled brown and black fur. I plummeted to the ground to create an effect, and halted suddenly inches above the light soil before landing softly. “How was my landing this time?” I teased the sick Shishou.
“Better.” He coughed before vomiting in a bush. I winced in disgust. Was I really that bad? Yuki set Dannen down, and then screamed in horror. I turned quickly to see the reason for her outburst.
“Oh my gosh, Kisa, Hachi is gone! I dropped Hachi!” My eyes widened in terror. Dannen tapped me with a hesitant paw.
“Lady Kisa, how should I cover for Hachi-ko without Lady Yuki finding out?” He whispered, despite the fact that I was the only one that understood him.
“Dannen, what happened to Hachi?” Dannen winced in fear of the horrors that I could create.
“Hachi-ko jumped out of Lady Yuki’s arms and told me to cover for her.” I smiled, scaring him more.
“So she’s fine! I know Hachi, she is safe and on her way back!” I turned, “Yuki, let’s stay here for the night, Hachi will be back soon and in perfect condition, though I have a feeling that she’ll be hungry!” poor Yuki looked as sick as Shishou.
“O…kay?” I smiled brightly at her as she wobbled off towards the trees. I heard a strange swishing sound that nobody else seemed to notice and I glanced at the sky. Two dark figures were coming towards us.
“Shishou, look!” He gazed at the sky and froze, a terrified expression locked in his face, one of fear, like a rabbit caught in the eyes of a snake.

Something was entering my mind. “My poor little boy, tonight will be your last. Tonight you will all die. Know me as your master, for I am higher than all, as I have captured my own angel. If you value your last seconds, run like the wind. Say goodbye to your dear friends, for they will watch you suffer, watch you writhe in pain. Your only chance is to run. Run child, or perish.” It was the voice of pure hatred and the reason for all suffering. I turned to Kisa.
“Kisa, I’m sorry, I can’t stay. Thank you, for everything, but… please forgive me.” I made the mistake of looking into her pure violet eyes before I turned and ran. There was confusion in her eyes, confusion and sadness.
“Shi-” her voice. It was more than I could handle. It was soft and sad, like a trickling river saying goodbye to the water birds and fish before it would be taken by winter. Hachi would have something to say about that. The girls were more powerful and better fighters without me. I held onto that thought as if it were a lifeline. I would be a burden if I were there. “-shou?” I was gone, disappearing into the dense forest.

The two demon creatures split up to attack. The male headed for Lady Yuki, who was ready for him, sword at the ready as she threw down her bow. The female departed for Lady Kisa. Where was Sir Shishou? I scanned for him, but I found no trail. Yuki was a valiant fighter as she fought as if the devil himself was her opponent. She glared at the creature, hatred and adrenaline powering her devil-blade. At every lethal blow, the other parried in the danced of death. The female walked up to Lady Kisa’s empty body. She looked into her lightless eyes and flinched. She whispered a few soft words, and Lady Kisa shed a few tears. The woman didn’t want to hurt Kisa.
