Status: almost sleepy, but happy
Well, I woke up this morning. And it just wasn't half bad. You know how usually, it's just another day? Well today wasn't like that all. Today was today. And it was good.
I saw Salma and Alexandra outside before I went in so I talked to them for a while. Me and Alex are both sore all over from ice skating. x] I also saw Jenn! =D I'm really glad because I thought I might not see her since I don't usually bump into her at lunch or such. Well, after we talked, I went up and I saw Amy's Odyssey project with Christie. It was awesome! ;] Amy is a great artist, seriously. And I showed Amy and Annie my comic for the project. They both thought it was cute. xD
Then was English. Mr. Hannon showed us some of the really nice projects that people had done. Molly's was awesome. =D She did a pop up book and it looked like something you would buy at the store. Brilliant. =] And Aaron and Richard are doing their interpretive dance tomorrow I believe, so I wonder how that'll work out.
Global was so-so. We talked. Discussed. The usual. Except I didn't die of boredom. =D
In Chemistry, I realized that I did the wrong homework over the break. xP Or rather, I got it kind of switched around. Nevertheless, I actually sort of kinda pretty much understood it all today. =] I forgot to buy Emran goggles though, which he told me to do since I took his.
Gym was same-old, same-old, really. Nice. =]
Tech Drawing too. Sitara was absent, but it was still alright. I just got work done. The sectioning practical is this week so I've definitely gotta get that together.
Lunch was cool. =] For once, there was no pizza and of course everything else was meat so I had veggie nuggets. And wedges. I gave Noelle her gift today. =] And then I hung out with Priya, Dori, Fariha, and that other girl whose name escapes me right now, for a while. =D Priya pushed my buttons of course. And then she gave me her little pizza pocket things, which were delicious and tasted like pizza! It amazed me, just like asian things do.
Latin was alright. We did that bingo board where people sign their names for what they did over the break. x] And Sharlene had an uber-cute pen! Which Jonathan thought was creepy. xD
I actually got through Math without falling asleep!!! o.o A miracle. We learned about hyperbolas today. =]
Ninth period was the best today. Then again, isn't it always? PIANO!
So, I practiced Houki Boshi and Michael tried to fix my fingering. He also told me that I need to emphasize the ties more. I apparently disregarded them completely. So, I shall fix that tomorrow with Esther. =] Also, Priya, Tomasz, and another girl who I think was his girlfriend were with us too. xD Tomasz plays so freaking good. o.o Lol it was funny Michael and Tomasz just like tipped me off the seat to play, but then when Tomasz was playing they couldn't get him off. xDD Seriously though, I wish I had big hands like that. That would be great.
I stayed a long while after to practice. Today was conference day so it ended at 2:45. I left at 3:40 but then I ran into Jonathan and Rosita in the hall. I think they had track. We talked about Sharlene's cute/creepy pen. x] And then they told me that it was okay to stay late so I went on back for another 20 minutes till 4. =] I love playing piano. I love playing piano. I love playing piano. I wonder how much more I can emphasize that to myself? I can play Houki Boshi at a good speed now, but I have to fix the things Michael told me to work on so that's my homework for tomorrow I guess. xD
Anyway, here's why I'm happy today.
One. I had a lot of fun playing piano and hanging out with my friends in the music room and seeing all of my other friends again.
Two. Emran went to college today. No. That's not the good part. xD Amma told me that he told her not to tell me that the reason he comes home over breaks even though the room is his is to see me. So I'm happy. =]
