Heaven's Gift
Pitter patter, pitter patter on that screen. Separating me from the coolness of heaven outside. These brick and glass walls all in the way, keeping me in this prison of facts and thoughts of solitude. Words rush by not coming in or getting out of the spiral that is my mind. No contact with the world around, just staring, staring, staring at the liquid drops of heaven. Waiting watching, waiting watching for that last thunder clap of noise to pass by. For that last ear annoyance to be over and to be with my living dream on the outside of these walls of rules and right and wrong. Waiting for no one to speak what to do and when to do it. Waiting watching, waiting watching behind these walls of brick and glass, till I can open my sense to heaven’s gift once again.
