damn i wish i had a camera.
talking about it just isn't going to cut it.
driving back through the smoke haze of back burning produces some really out there effects. the sun is a red ball and when the smoke haze clears a bit produces light of an old gold even more intense than summer late after noon sunlight. it's nuts.
The smoke haze makes the trees and mountains look like something out of a water colour. The trees in the foreground stand out sharply amidst the gray gloom and as the eye looks further back into the back ground trees and objects get hazier but still stand out distinctly from those behind them.
it's almost like slightly blurred paper cut outs until the mountains in the back ground. it was just so out there. the art lover in me is just dying to try and take a pic but the smoke doesn't show very clearly in photo's.
i'll probably never see anything like it again... conditions like this and that's a good thing its just... it would have made an awesome pic.
It was sort of like a dream scape.
