i told the mate who got it for me i would.

as u may or may not know, under threat of bushfire my family ( pets included) have cleared out to my sisters place and we're staying here for roughly a week. the weathers supposed to get beneficial for bush fires again on Friday so most who fled have returned gratefully to their homes (though they're planning to pull out again friday) inspite of having to share a tilting, fold out couch bed with me, mum says she couldn't be bothered moving, so we're staying here... Joy.

okay enough background.

anyway, recently my sister got tired of me pinching her compy when i stay over. she and i got together and bought a 2nd hand lap top (with the advice and approval of a mate who worked in office works). We went halvies.

As time goes on we're slowly updating all the needed bits and pieces. First up, the net connection (which involves three different bits of hard ware and assorted soft ware gobbledygook.- Yay the mate from office works. ^^)

then the latest versions of this, that and the other... oh, and a word compatible program... since he kinda forgot to add that.

and the latest and greatest? a proper MOUSE... ah mouse, how i love thee... you save my fingers from the cramps of using the built in mouse.

Only prob is... i only got one working usb port...and the mouse is using it.
CURSE THAT INCOMPLETE ITEM REPORT. they never said a thing about that dodgy second usb port.

good mouse, or music from my usb port. how will i ever deciiiiiiid (holds face in hands and does my best 'the scream' impression.)

here's hoping this is the worst problem i have to face over this week of refuge huh.
