I almost forgot about the library careers night last night. o_o;;
It wasn't very eventful...in fact, most of the presenters were the same people who visited all of my core classes. But I suppose the pretense of networking is a good thing.
Today in practicum, I checked once more for missing DVDs (and made sure they were marked "l" for "lost" or "nr" for "needs reordered" in the system). I did the non-fiction holds list and then helped Linda hook up a TV to the VHS to DVD converter so that she could put some interviews that were on VHS onto DVD. I did some shelving, cut out laminated signs, and copied and cut out ILL papers. I also cataloged several donation books (all copy cataloging), made spine labels, and covered the books before checking them in.
