For all practicum purposes...
I did another search for a lost copy of an Ohio Reference book before pulling the holds lists and changing the status in the system of older new books so that they were no longer classified as new 14 day books. In the move we'd somehow misplaced the panic button, so we hunted for that for a bit. I fetched some materials from upstairs, read parts of the manuals for the fax machine and copier, and discussed policy changes and discrepancies (such as the official policy stating that no children under the age of 7 are allowed to be unattended while signs posted around the library put the age at cool . I manned the reference desk and did some genealogy research for a patron. I also requested books via ILL through SEO and Worldcat. Linda and I made up some new business cards with the new fax number and the charges per fax.
