Soon, it will be time to leave.
Soon we will all be off and on our own!
Nine more weeks and it will all be over!
Tests will have been taken.
Friends will have come and gone, hopefully more coming then going.
It's true, we will all cry on the last day!
Boyrfriends and girlfriends will have to say good-bye to their respective others,
Though I do hope that those good-bye's don't last very long.
It seems the closer we come to the last days,
The more one starts to think of all they will leave behind in a new light.
When a person starts highschool, they see it all as a chore.
School, to them, is something that they live through until the days it's finally over,
Only really going because their parents or the state makes them.
As you get older, though, and as your last year comes closer to an end,
You begin to see school as a special privilage, given only to the luckiest of those in this world.
It is a place of protection, where the teachers care for you and truely want you to succeed.
You see that you are loosing the perfect hang out place!
You are saying good-bye to seeing your friends every day.
You are really saying good-bye to alot of your friends, since they will either be at college as well or they will have to continue attending the school you so unwilling left behind.
And yes, there are cell phones and internet.
Now a days, your friends are only a click away,
But escentially, it doesn't make the leaving any easier.
