Her eyes fly open.
The room is dark,
no one is there,
she is alone.
Why is she awake?
Warm liquid
flows down her cheek.
Now she understands.
She moves quickly,
slealthily off the bed,
and stumbles into the bathroom.
No more toilette paper.
As she leans over the cold, white sink,
smooth and unfamiliar,
and thinks to herself;
This is not home.
