geez...i am such a perv today

So I was thinking, doesn't superhero names sound peculiar? I mean, last time I checked, controlling the weather didn't run in Storm(from X-men)'s family. So what? Does that mean her parents gave birth to her, had this wild decision to name her 'Storm' and coincidentally, she had the ability to control the weather? I see, I see. . . It's COMPLETELY rational.

And I'm pretty sure Cyclops wasn't named after a one-eyed monster who shoots laser beams. Just like how wolverine had to think between Slicey-fingers and Cat-man. But then again, superheroes may be just a bunch of hobos high on narcotics, I mean people don't naturally wear their underwear on the outside. . . right superman?

and I really couldn't figure out SUPERMAN'S name. Like, "super" + "man". How unimaginative can you get?! Yeah, I understand that the character has been around since who-knows-when, and writers then were a little off in the head, but just try to process the name in its own fictional milieu... was Clark Kent really intended to be written that lame?
