Occasional sips
Soon becomes a lot

Everyone is watching
Everyone is there
So you take in more of me
So that they won't stare

The party is over
All said and done
But they want to go for a drive
And have a little fun

So you start the car
And step down on the clutch
Thinking your sober...
That you didn't have very much

Everything is fuzzy
It all becomes a blur
As you slowly lose sight
Of who you once were

You spin out of control
And swerve off the street

Were never to meet
