I suppose I'd better get a schedule running for this thing, as it will be a sort of journal/blog for me now. I am moving to my father's house to stay, and live there at least until i finish high school. Now, down there (in texas, atm i am in mississippi) he doesn't do things the same up here. for one, they frown upon video games and internet (if you know me then you know how much time i waste on those things) although they do not ban it's practice, and the neighbors steal the internet, so it stays UNPLUGGED for the majority. Two, down there it's mainly physical, something i am simply not built for. Im a scrawny little sucker. I'm not weak, but im not strong either. They are a part of the 4H and show goats and get involved in livestock. They have a bunch of goats they take care of. I'm thinking they'd push me into doing that. I'm not interested in it, and I will say so if need be, but i digress. I'm not into livestock judging and that sort of thing. They also have (compared to here) little to do other than play video games (sparingly) and watch movies or play board games. I'm too old for TOY toys, and besides, they have little of that either... *sigh*. After a while, things get old.
Now, onto the subject i'd like to rant about. When we are allowed to play video games, It is a rule that there has to be either: an order of single player turns, or pure mulitplayer, no 'by myself'. Fighting games are a no, as they want to win every single time and when they lose they cry and its just TOO MUCH OF A F***ING hassle (I pwn their asses). Racing games get boring. The rest get old and/or are gay. Now, they have DS's, and i have a PSP. That is okay, but i only have three games, they have a modded thing that has virtually every single ******** game and then some (music players, pic players, whatnot). As i said, they frown upon video games. I'd like to get a few new games every now and again, but I doubt they'd let me. (Im not even going to mention what is on my wishlist... its earlier in this.) Internet is 90 percent of the time cut off, due to the neighbors who are too poor to get their own and jack ours, mainly to play games. Now, my stepmother actually uses the interwebz for things other than that (everything but), and there is this blue light on the router that goes 900 miles per hour when it is being used, even when nothing is going on. I was on a page with text and pictures, just letting it sit there, and she knew I was online, as the light was going fast. When it's being jacked, it goes warpspeed, and what she does next I like for its humane level of creulty and awesomeness. If she catches the light going hyperspeed she simply unplugs the cord.
Okay, so i have a few days left before I leave. Like i said, Im going to get a schedule up, and post in this every chance i get down there.
I've said this to myself a lot of times: I will accept this new lifestyle, but I never said i'd like it. I will stop fighting this battle, but not the war. Seriously, I've been against most of what my parents have tried to teach me. I've fought against them, denying most things they try to push me onto or changes they try to make me accept. My friend says that they are trying to rule my life. What's neat is that he's invited to live with him and go to the same college as him after I turn 18. Two years to go. What was really creepy is he did a Tarot card reading; and it was accurate as F**k.
