Chapter Two: Decisions
As she stood ready, the man came out from the bushes, with a look on his face, that told apology and sorries. Shippuuden sighed heavily, and turned her back.
"Oh, it's just you...father." she said, irritated. The snake-nin looked at his daughter and sighed.
"Sweetie, I just wanted to apologize to you. I never knew how you felt about me. I didn't know you felt this way either." he said. She glared at the yellow eyes of his and growled.
"What made you think I was happy? Being locked in a room for hours on end, only going outside to train or be whipped. Never eating in days and days just so I can get stronger. What about my normal life?! Why can't I go to the leaf village, and meet other ninja? What are you so damn worried about?!" Shippuuden yelled. Orochimaru was in shock, after all that, who else wouldn't be speechless. The man walked closer to her and held her shoulders.
"In fact, that's why I came here to talk to you. I'm going to let you go to the Leaf Village. I'm going to give you some freedom." he said. She looked back into his snake eyes, and started stuttering,
"But, why would you? You were so damn worried about it before, why not now?"
"I thought about it, then I realized, you're a young woman, not a machine. So sweetie, I'll give you this, and you can head out." he said, handing her a choker. It was a pure black collar with a tiny purple gem on it. "Before you ask, that device will keep my in touch with you." The young woman looked up at her father and put on the choker. "Thank you dad." she said, turning around and darting off to the forest. Orochimaru stood there and smiled,
"Be safe my young girl." he thought.
Shippuuden ran past many trees, all shedding lusicous green leaves in her path. She never felt so happy in her life.
"Oh finally, I can see the Leaf Village, and meet other ninja" The blonde thought to herself. She kept running and running until she reached a high horizion. She looked over the cliff, so see a village, bigger than any other thing she's seen. In big red letters on the gate, it read "Konaha".
"I'm here, I made it.." she thought.
