She died tonight. Not really sure what all it was. Somehow she caught a fungus, almost overnight. It spread so fast.. D: Jim went to the store to get some medicine to try and cure her of it, but we just didn't catch it in time.. ;_; We found her nestled between the leaves above the log tunnel. She didn't even appear to be dead at first, or even as I prodded her into the open part of the tank. I thought at first she was just weak and not moving. I even had hope that she had a little life left in her so I could help her breathe, but after a good few minutes of watching intently I saw no life in her at all..

You were such a lovely baby fantail, Moegi...

Even though you were only with us for a short time, it's not going to be easy to replace you.

I'm just sorry that I never got the chance to take another picture of you. ;_;
