Yesterday and today were rather nice days. Not genuine nice. Just plain nice.

Song of the Day...Clair de Lune, by Claude Debussy

Status: had a slight headache earlier

Okay, well yesterday was pretty fun! I went to Flushing to hang out with Karen, Hera, Kathy, Lucille, and Catherine. I woke up at 5am hoping to do Fazr, but somehow it ended up with me waking up and then going back to sleep and then waking up again every hour. And despite that, I was still late! xD Heh well, it was fun going on the swings at the park and giving Catherine a piggy back ride. =3 I got her wet in the sprinklers. xD

NEXTTIME I WILL KICK MY CAP OFF OF HERA'S HEAD. WATCH MY LEGS GROW OVER NIGHT! Or Kathy will do it for me. ;]

Anyway, after Karen and Kathy went to MEGA, me and Hera and Catherine went to Hera's house to get ready for Jummah. I'm glad I got to do the prayer this time. It was nice. =] Afterwards we went back and ate. I LOVE THAT CHICKEN THAT THEY SELL AT THE MASJID. ITS SO GOOD. And Danish showed me and Catherine the awesomeness of Windows Media Player when you have a camera on your laptop. ;] The voice changing effects are niceee!

Hm, afterwards we all met up again later. And and and...uh. SHORT TERM MEMORY HERE. o.o What did we do afterwards?

Hm. Well. We had fun blah blah blah, and then went home. =D That about sums it up.

So.

Today.

I went to Flushing again to meet Esther and Nowshad and then we went to Bayside on the Q27 to go to that Utopia Learning Center place. To be honest. It didn't suck, but it wasn't helpful. The joy of taking Latin. You don't need to study word roots excessively. I can't say that the old dude's a bad teacher, but I think he really emphasized literacy far too much over math and even general writing. Probably not the class for me.

Self study could probably work wonders for me if I'd actually do it. But considering I'm sitting here typing this, it should be clear that isn't going so great. x.x

Em, well, I got home just in time to bother Yuna to help me with the A flat scale, since I kind of forgot it. It turned out to be fairly easy but I only got to try it once before my teacher came. Otherwise, Yuna was trying to explain "feeling" to me. I hope I don't play stale. o.o

My piano teacher came soon after, and he was also trying to explain something that wasn't conceptual to me, about playing smoothly. I need to work on that part on the back of the 2nd page. v_v 'Cause I kind of get it, but it doesn't quite seem right when I attempt to do it.

Anyway, Suteki Da Ne is making slow progress, maybe?

Kaze Ni Naru, is long off in the distant past!

Calm Lands is going on. Michael, you have a way with getting me addicted to songs. o.o

Speaking of which, you got me into Java again too! Who would've thought I'd really bother to do any javascripting before school started again. xD And yet Python has me interested. RAWR. I really should ask Mr. Fox how to embed scripting in html. D:

Oh and I'm happy today because I made a new friend on gaia! Kathy! =]
