A Shadow of Nobody
Why do I exist,
What is my purpose?
I am but a shadow of what was once me,
Lurking and sulking in the darkness,
Unnoticed and unappreciated,
By the others that pass,
I try and reach out to the people I love and care about,
But I don’t do anything other than hinder them or even hurt them,
So there is no point for me to stay around,
To suffer in silence,
Hiding it from others,
But now I don’t care anymore,
Nobody would care if I faded out of existence,
Their lives would keep moving on as though nothing happened,
For I was just a shadow of a nobody,
Just another one of the billions on the world,
Nothing but a mere speck in the history,
Unremembered and unacknowledged.

Just something I wrote out of feeling numb (Somewhat?) and based on the way nobody seemed to care about or even notice me. (No, I'm not an attention-whore, 'kay?! >< I just felt like it and.. Yeah. ) Despite it's nature, I wasn't feeling suicidal.
