Endless forests all over the world,

Trees of vast diversity,

Young saplings sprouting out of the ground,

Ancient oaks getting older with every passing year,

Teeming with wildlife,

From small to huge,

Roaming in the trees’ shadows,

With no purpose but to live.

Despite the beauty of nature,

We continue our destruction of trees and animals,

Cutting down trees,

The very things that keep us alive,

Cleansing the air of carbon-dioxide,

Giving us oxygen to breathe in exchange,

Providing the animals with habitats,

We poach the wildlife,

And for what?

The glory of killing an animal?

Wealth from selling materials made from them?

Nothing is worth taking a life,

Whether it’s non-human or human.

Because of this,

The world we call home,

Is dying slowly.

We must rally together to save Earth,

Recycle, preserve water,

Boycott products made from animals,

Ban products tested on animals,

Lessen the tree-cutting, use public transportation,

Every little action counts,

It’ll help Earth to keep it’s vitality and beauty.

Save our home,

For Earth’s and our sakes.

I shall preserve Earth to my best extent,

By committing myself to the cause.

Will you?
