It's a decent crowd. Some women, mostly men, and numerous police. It's a simple, non-original murder. Man was stabbed in the heart. What is peculiar, is that nothing at the scene (the victims house) is stolen, let alone, out of place. Everything at the scene was moved back to its original place with meticulous detail. But this isn't all, there had been about four other murders that the scene was reset perfectly. Ase and Anna arrive upon the crowd, curious to know what is going on. The two make their way through the crowd and up to an investigator. Ase speaks up, "Um, excuse me! I'm kinda curious, what happened here?" The investigator turns to him and replies, "A murder. I can't release much information to you, but in my opinion, I'd say this was a serial killing. I saw two like this last week." Ase turns away and says, "Thank you." as he turns away, He scopes the crowd, and Anna continues to chat with the investigator. Ase notices one man in particular. He seems like an ordinary man, clean cut hair, nice formal clothing, etc. But there's one thing strange about him. His smile. His eerie smile. He is the only man in the crowd smiling, and it's not because someone told him a joke. Ase looks at this mans sleeves after noting his smile. There's a small amount of water on his sleeves, and they have a strange tint of red, whereas the rest of the shirt is white. Ase begins to approach the man, but the man takes note of him and quickly hurries out of the crowd. Immediately, a chase ensues. It's a straight shot chase, down one road, on foot. Ase begins to catch up as the man turns down an alley. Ase goes to turn down it, but the man wasn't there. It's as if he'd disappeared. Ase walks back towards the crime scene to look for Anna. The crowd has dwindled. Anna approaches Ase, gently reaches out, and smacks him upside the head. She scolds him, "You idiot, where'd you go?! Why'd you leave me here?!" Ase stumbles to collect his words, "I was… there was this guy… his smile… sleeves… chase… alley… neeeh?" Anna replies, "You chased a man because he was smiling? You're an idiot." Ase changes the subject, "You know what, it's getting late. Let's look for a place to stay." They find a hotel and Ase winds up paying for it after Anna notes that his wallet seemed quite bulky. The two go for dinner at a nice restaurant, where Ase was embarrassed the whole time. He had his hood up and refused to look at Anna, thinking this was some sort of "date". As they leave the restaurant, they go down a very quiet street. Anna walks her scooter alongside her. They approach an alley and Ase hears a man grunting and yelling. Ase tells Anna he's going to go ahead, and sprints towards the alley to find a older man who had been stabbed in the chest. Ase starts to apply pressure to the mans chest, trying to keep him alive. The man, with his dying breath say to Ase in a strong Russian accent, "Ungh… Don't… Don't interfere…!" Ase is shocked when the man dies. He lays him down and hunches over him, as if to begin praying. As he starts with "Dear Lord…" an arm reaches around Ase's neck, as another plunges a knife into his chest, killing Ase. The murderer fades back into the shadows as Anna comes upon the gruesome scene. She drops her scooter and begins to let out a scream, when a hand reaches across her mouth and suffocates her until she's unconscious. She's then dragged into the shadows.
