I am commited heart and soul to my principles and to my God.
Silence of the Fallen Moons (different)
I waited, breathless for him to return to my loving arms. He turned away from me as I reached for his strong, but slender, arms. Draganfyre's green eyes bore into me, questing a reason for my actions. I watched his smile grow into a frown of disapproval. He reached out and grabbed my elven hands in his. Draganfyre looked into my sapphire eyes, still waiting for a reason for the carnage. I gasped in pain as his slender fingers gripped harder.

"Saipire, what is the meaning of this?" His warm voice seemed cold and unforgiving to my ears. I stayed silent for a moment, letting his fingers grip tighter before I replied. "Tell me." Draganfyre gripped even harder. I let him almost crush my hand and went through the agony.

"I am a grayling." Draganfyre relaxed his grip, confused. I took my hand from his and ran my fingers through his golden locks of elf hair. He ripped himself from me, a bewildered look on his face. "I am half black, half gold." He then understood and returned to me.

"Then why lie to me?" He still quested answers.

"Please kill me now, Draganfyre." He was ever more confused at this statement. "My existance is pitiful, and I wish to rid this land of myself."

"But you are not the monster-"

"Yes I am! Now kill me!" I screamed and then sank to my knees, sobbing and willing to end my life. I begged him to take his blade and thrust it through my heart. He refused again. I took the rapier from my belt and went to commit suicide, but his strong hands took the steel thing from my grasp. I grabbed at the other one, but he swiped it from my belt, unwilling to let me kill myself. He then grasped the dagger I had consealed in my boot.

"I will not let you go, Saipire." He stated, his arms full of any weapon close to my hands. I placed my face in my hands and sobbed.

"I do not want to die, but I must if you are to live! It is not for you to die by my drow hands!"

"And it is not right for you to die at mine, or yours!" I then fell unconcious as he tapped me on the temples. He whispered under his breath, "It is for your own good, Saipire," as he picked up my limp form and left the battlegrounds.
