Now that he owned the estate, and his inheritance was a sure thing, Aiden was told to attend meetings to make sure all went well while he was in charge. His first big meeting, he would have to make a trip back down to City Hall and talk with the city's advisers and mayor. And believable enough it was that afternoon.
It took awhile for City hall to make her master's inheritance final. Once weeks passed he was finally going to City Hall. Accept Sam wasnt feeling too hot. She laid on the bed grabbing her stomach in pain.
Aiden walked out f the bathroom with a towel over his shoulder. He saw Sam on the bed holding her stomach and went over to her. "Sam.. what's wrong?" He carefully pulled her into his lap.
Sam's ears were folded back. "Im fine just a little stomach ache." She said groaning in pain .
Aiden frowned. "This is more than just a little stomachache..." He set her back on the bed and grabbed some of there clothes from the dresser. He quickly dressed her and headed out. He brought Sam to his car and drove to the hospital. When the doctors saw Sam, they didn't make her wait before they took her int he back to examine her. In the back room, the doctors set Sam on a bed and began to ask her a few questions. Of course none of them could find out why she was in so much pain. The doctor gave her a few pain killers and told them to let it settle before she went anywhere, leaving Aiden and Sam in the room alone. Aiden looked at her on the bed. She had taken the medicine already but Sam still looked like she was in excruciating pain.
Even though they gave her pain killers she was still hurting. She bit her lip and each time a wave of pain came over her she bit down on it hard until she bled. Suddenly she felt an incredible urge to vomit. She shot out of bed and started for the bathroom and puked.
Aiden was so worried about her he followed her to the bathroom. And when he heard from the other side of the door, he went to get the doctor. The doctor came into the bathroom where Sam was. Aiden peeked through the door as The doctor helped her off the floor and back to the room. "We'll need a urine sample."
Sam nodded slowly as she got them the sample and gave it to them. Once she was done she crawled back into the bed laying down and trying to keep warm.
Aiden laid his jacket over sam and sat in the chair next to the bed. It was a while before the doctor came back to the room with a clipboard and paper stuck to it. "I have new for the both of you." He said. Aiden gave him his full attention. "Will she be okay?" The doctor nodded. "Yes she'll be fine. But I advise you get prenatal care medication." Aiden looked at him with weird. "What do you mean?" The doctor sighed. "Sam appears to be pregnant according to the test results." Aiden's jaw dropped and he looked back at Sam as she lay there on the bed.
Sam sat up and looked at the doctor. She was shocked.
Aiden looked back at the doctor. "And you're sure about it..." The doctor chuckled and nodded. "About 99.9% sure of it. No test is 100% ya know." He looked at both of their shocked expression. "Well... I'll leave you for a moment to get the rest of the paperwork and prescriptions filled out." With that he left the room closing the door behind him. Aiden held his hands to his temples. How could I have been so stupid?!
Sam could see how upset her master was. Her ears folded back and tears ran down her face. She got up and ran out of the room. "Im sorry master." She said as she ran out. Tears were pouring down her face as she ran out of the hospital. She knew if she left now her master could have a better life with a girl with as much power as him instead of a lowly servant girl. Sam ran into the woods where her people lived in hiding. She just had to find one of the villages.
Aiden followed her out into the woods, but she was much faster than he was. He soon lost track of her int he trees. "Damn it!" Aiden went back to his car and drove back to the estate as fast as he could. When he got back he gathered a few of his security guards to help him search the woods. He even rounded up the police to help. He couldn't let Sam go.. not now. He knew she was ashamed of it, and he was afraid to admit it to anyone but himself, but he was in love with her. He hadn't even gotten the chance to tell her, or say that he was happy for her being pregnant, but he cursed himself for taking such foolish actions and not protecting her from it in the first place.
Sam was still crying as she ran. She went through the woods quickly as she finnally reached one of the villages. The people looked at her and her clothes. None of them wanted to go near her fearing she was leading slave holders to them. But she sat in the middle of the village until one boy was brave enough to go near her. He looked down at her and she looked up. He held out his hand for her to take. "Im Neku." He said in a soft voice. "Im Sam..." She said. He took her to his small home where he fed her and gave her a place to sleep.
It was a few days before the police gave up on the search. And Aiden himself looked a mess. He hadn't been home to really bathe at all and his hair was everywhere. He had bags under his eyes and his skin was pale. He rubbed his eyes in exhaustion. One of this security guards cam running to him and he quickly sprang up from where he was sitting at the edge of a tree. "What? what is it? Have you found her?" The guard stopped in front of him and hung his head. "I'm terribly sorry Lord Zehnji.. we can't find her.. she didn't leave behind anything.. not even foot prints." Aiden turned around and hit his fists against the tree until his knuckles bled. He couldn't stand being without Sam anymore. He couldn't relay on the police, or his own guards. He would have to find her himself. He took his jacket off and began his venture into the woods. He guards tried to stop him but he only ordered them to stay back. "If I'm not back in two days.. assume the worst." With that his guards had to obey. They all went back to the estate to tell his father. He only smiled, but frowned at the same time. He admired Aiden's chivalrous ways, but he couldn't afford to loose his son. But, he was his own man... that was for sure. He told the guards to let it be and just go ahead with Aiden's orders. They would have protested, but they didn't want to upset the late lord. Meanwhile, Aiden was making his way through the woods that quickly got thicker and thicker. He soon knew he was no longer on his newly obtained territory. But he kept on, he had to find Sam... and that's all that ran through his mind.
It had only been a couple of days and the village accepted Sam. Neku had accepted her as a sister but he wanted more. But for now he would let it be. Everyone learned of her story right from her birth to the moment she was speaking to them. She started to grow taller being that all the mother's who had just given birth gave a little of their milk to her. Her parents didnt give her any because they thought she was going to die. Sam felt equal to everyone arround her. Neku kept a sharp eye on his guest even tried romancing her many times. But sam wasn't ready for her heart to be out there again. She thought of her master every time she looked at her stomach. His baby was in her. The look he had at the hospital. It seemed to him he didnt want it and thats what made Sam run. She hoped he found a new woman a more beautiful woman to bare his children.
It had taken a while, but Aiden finally came to a clearing. It was.. a village? He entered and didn't see anyone at first. But as soon as he was going to call for someone, he saw a few children run his way. when they saw him, they stopped in their tracks and stared at him. Aiden took a step closer. "Excu--" He couldn't get it all out before they ran back the other way. "Damn!" He couldn't help but notice the kids had ears just like Sam's. He walked further into the village not knowing what to expect of the others.
The children that saw Aiden came to the bar that Sam was at with Neku. "There's a human in the village!!!" They screamed and people scattered. "Come on Sam!" Neku said taking her hand and leading her back to his home. He locked and closed all the doors and windows. He opened a secret way to the cellear. "Stay here ok?" He said and left her with food water and a bed. Neku and all the male Neko's of the village came out with spears and other weapons.
He wasn't even in the village five minutes and there was a mob of men in front of him with their sights and weapons pointed at him. Aiden looked at them wide eyed and backed away. He held his arms up surrendering to them. "I'm not armed..." He said as to try to have them calm down. But it did nothing. They rushed him and tied his hands behind his back with thick rope and carried him off.
Neku looked at the man and hissed. "How many more of your damn kind will take our children to be your servants? How many more of our women will you take for your damn pleasures. Our kind have suffered through the years being bought traded and sold to many different people. Our women were raped beaten and killed by your kind." He said as his nubby nails suddenly grew into claws. "So what the hell does your kind want this time?" He asked putting his claws to Aiden's neck. The other males stood around him and the women and children were watching through windows.
Hearing his explanation on why humans weren't welcome anywhere around them, he put his head down. Maybe Sam ran here because she no longer wanted to be with him anymore. She probably knew what they would do to him. And just that thought broke his heart. and as many of these people he had seen, he hadn't yet seen Sam. but, she had to be somewhere. He told Neku the truth, "I came to get Sam... but... apparently she doesn't want to be with me anymore." He held back a tear as his hair fell over his face blocking his expression from them.
Neku hissed. "What the hell do you want with Sam." He said as he didnt take his guard down. Meanwhile Sam was in the cellar waiting for Neku to come back. After awhile she couldnt wait she walked upstairs and walked back to the village and hid behind the building. She didnt recognize Aiden being he was so dirty and messed up.
whether it got him killed or not. He was going to tell the entire story. And he did. Aiden explained his hatred for slavery before he told them how he had bought Sam from a slave dealer, at first for his assurance to his inheritance, but it had changed after he took her home. He told them he wanted to give Sam a better life and worked hard at having her regain a normal weight, and even signed her up for the private tutoring sessions she went to on his estate in his manor. He gave her new clothes, nothing like a slave, he wouldn't even let anyone say the word around him. Then, even his offer to give up everything he had, just to keep Sam by his side... Of course, he had to explain why he had ventured to the village in the first place. He told them about the hospital visit a few days ago and how she ran away when she heard she was pregnant. "I came here because everyone I sent out to find her, claimed they couldn't... I want to take care of her... I have to, I promised her."
Neku let out a hiss. "She told me you had the expression you didnt want it." He said he glared at Aiden. Sam came around the corner crying. Neku turned around. "Sam your supposed to be hiding." He said as he ran up to her and holding her.
As Sam came around the corner he just looked at her. He didn't say a word. She'd gotten a little taller the past few days, and she looked more gorgeous than ever seeing her face for the first time in that short periods. He was happy to see her, but ashamed that he had made her run away. She thought.. I didn't want it.. He hung his head again. And this time he let the tears come. They rolled down his dirty face, sending gray tears to the ground.
Sam saw her master crying. She pushed away from Neku and ran to her master. "Master!" She said as she finally got to him and her claws came out and cut the ropes. "Sam what are you doing?!" Neku demanded. Sam had tears pouring down her face. "I thought you didnt want it so I ran..."
Aiden shook his head and hugged Sam close to him. "Of course I want it... I want both of you." Now was his chance to tell her. He choked on the words a bit before he actually got them out. "Sam.. I love you."
Neku hissed at his words. Sam just started to bawl like a newborn baby. "I want to go home master." She said in a whisper.
Aiden nodded and stood up with Sam in his arms. The rest of the crowd seemed to part for them, but Neku was the only one in his way. Without even a word he walked right past him
Sam held onto her master tightly. "Im sorry master. Im sorry I ran."
Aiden held her closer and rubbed her neck. "It's alright. I have you back now.. and I'm going to take care of you and our baby." He walked right out of the woods, making it back to his car in half the time it took him to get there. He set Sam in the front seat and buckled her in. Aiden drove home, and without a word, took her to his room and ran a hot bath for the both of them. His father and the other servants saw him, but didn't say anything. They let him alone.
Sam enjoyed the hot water of the bath. Her master even used her favorite scent for the bubbles. Lavender. She sunk into the water so that only her head was above. She noticed something. She had grown bigger. Probably from all the mother's milk the women offered her. Her hands went down to her stomach and rubbed it softly. This would be the first half Neko offspring ever born. But being that she wasn't human she had to tell her master it would probably take less time for them to develop. "Master...There's somethings you might want to know. Unlike female humans, our offspring only take six months to develop. But it being the first of its kind I don't really know how long. But we Neko's can also produce litters like cats can. The most out of a litter Ive seen was 7. But...I was born out of a litter of ten. Three of my siblings died I was supposed to be next." Sam said explaining "but who knows the average litter is normally three to five."
Aiden smiled as he sat in the tub with her. It felt good to finally take a bath after so long. "I really don't care if you have one or thirty..." He pulled her closer to him. "Our children will get all the love they can possibly handle and more." Then he thought about the time period on how long it would take. Average pregnancies for humans were nine months.. and for neko's only six.He figured it would be somewhere between that time that they would be fully developed. Aiden roughly estimated around seven and a half months, taking that half of six was three... and half of nine was four and one half, and adding them both together. "And no matter how long it takes.. I'm ready to be a father."
Sam smiled. She was happy he wanted to be the father. She sat on his lap and leaned her back against his chest as she closed her eyes to enjoy the moment.
Sam belly had gotten bigger over the past few months... much bigger. Aiden took her to the hospital for an ultrasound and saw that she was having multiples, at least four. two of them had tiny little cat ears growing already. aiden smiled as he saw his babies on the screen. He leaned down to sam and kissed her forehead. After the ultrasound they went back home. They had decided before that they would go out that night. and Aiden had picked out just the perfect dress for sam. He had it laid out on the bed wrapped in a protective plastic cover so she couldn't see. He stood in front of the mirror as he straightened his hair and changed suites.
Sam walked into their bedroom with a tray of tea. She started to become more like a servent eventhough he insisted on her not doing that. It made her happy to serve him. But it became harder being that she was also lugging around four babies in her belly. She set the tea down on the table agianst the wall and walked over to the bed to sit. She slowly stroked her hand over her stomach. The babies were kicking. But not too rougly. But she knew they wanted to come out soon.
Securing his tie, He looked over at Sam on the bed. "Don't you want to see your dress?" He smiled and waited for her reaction. "We're going out to dinner tonight, remember? There's going to be a ballroom dance and everything."
Sam looked at the plastic that the dress was in. She nodded her head. "I was just trying to get off my feet for awhile you try lugging around four babies." She said as she started to undress. The dress was beautiful. She slipped it over herself but her baby bump clearly showed. She didnt mind if people saw her like that she was happy. Sam brushed her hair and even put on makeup.
Aiden laughed nervously at her comment. "I'm sorry. I'm just happy to have you Sam." When She was done dressing and putting on her make up, Aiden looked at her in amazement. He had never seen her in make up before, and even with her pregnant belly, she looked amazing in the gown he got her. even her hair had gotten longer so it draped over her shoulders. If he weren't concerned about making her too exhausted, he would have taken her right there. "Sam.." He walked up to her and kissed her cheek lightly. "You are gorgeous." He couldn't say she looked it, because she was gorgeous to him in whatever she wore, no matter how she wore it. "Let's get going huh? I have something special for you when we get back."
Sam nodded and took her masters arm. When she was dressed like this and was with him, she felt like the mistress of the estate. She wanted to be that atlest. But it was for him to decide not her. She was just excited for the ball.
Aiden was taking his best car for that night. His dark blue Ferrari pininfarina. Not one of his newest cars, but it gave him a look that he was on top of the world even if no one else thought so. He drove to the restaurant which was more like a mansion itself. The ballroom was on the third floor with a bar, and the restaurant was the entire second floor, which was more outdoors because there were no windows around the sitting area. And the main level--a large lounge, three heated indoor swimming pools, and a weight room--was for guests who were staying at the hotel that it was incorporated with it across the street. To avoid the main floor for those only coming to the restaurant, there was an elevator on the outside that lead to the balcony of the second floor. At night, the lights n the outside lit up the building making it seem like the place was made of gold. And the best part of the ballroom was, the open skylight. Of course, they kept reinforced glass over the top to keep out rain and heat or cold. He pulled around to the parking lot and parked his car. Aiden didn't trust valet parking. After turning off the engine, he sat for a moment and looked over at sam. "Are you ready?"
Sam nodded and smiled. "Yep." She said as she opened the car door and waited for him to come around to help her out.
Aiden swiftly got out of the car and went around to Sam's side. He helped her out of the car and closed the door, locking the doors with the alarm. He held out his arm to her like an escort and walked back around to the front of the building. They stepped into the elevator on the outside of the place and up to the second floor balcony. After entering the restaurant he cleared his reservation with the receptionist and they were seated with the best view in the whole place, over looking the far beach across the city. The waiter brought their menus and told them the specials for the night before leaving. Aiden looked at Sam and smiled. "Do you like it?"
Sam smiled. "Yea I love it." She said in a smile.
"I picked this spot special for you." Aiden said. "After dinner, we'll go to the top floor to the ballroom." He looked through the menu and decided his dinner and waited for the waiter to come back... but not too soon he hoped. He wanted to admire sam in her gown some more.
Sam looked at the menu and she thought the salmon sounded good. She nodded about the ballroom. "I dont think Ill do much dancing." She said with a smile as she rubbed her stomach. "Oh!" She said from them kicking. "They want food now." She said with a smile.
aiden flagged down their waiter and ordered their dinner.
When the dinner finnaly came Sam started fast. But not fast enough to look like a slob. She was actually eating like a queen.
Even though their table was quiet, it wasn't one of those uncomfortable awkward silences. Aiden watched Sam eat. He could barley wait to show her the ballroom so he tried to finish his dinner quickly.
Sam was finished before her master and she patiently waited for him to finish.
When he was finished he picked up the heck and took Sam up to the ballroom. The White marble walls were lined with bright blue granite and the old renaissance look to the room made you feel like you were in the Medieval times.And the music playing was quite old, but had a modern upbeat to it, so it was still easy to dance to even now. Soon the music slowed and traditional ballroom music came on. Aiden held out his hand to invite her to dance. "Just once.. and if you want we can leave."
Sam nodded and took her masters hand as he led her out to the dance floor.
Aiden led her tot he floor and twirled her around before taking her in his arms and dancing. There were no words once more, but everything was said in that instant on the dance floor. and sam was lighter on her feet than she seemed. He didn't know where she had learned to ballroom dance, but he had to give her credit.
After the song was finished she kissed her master on the lips and sat down in the chair. She let out a sigh as she rubbed her stomach. The babies were telling her it was bedtime and they were tired.
aiden saw Sam's exhaustion and scooped her up from the chair. "Come on, we can go home now. He took the elevator back down and settled her in the car and drove back home. He even took the liberty in undressing her and putting on her nightclothes for her when they got to his room. He laid her down in the bed and covered her up before changing his own clothes and laying with her.
Sam laid in the bed on her side as her eyes became heavy until she was fully asleep.
Aiden held Sam all night until he fell asleep as well. The next morning, he ran a bath for her before she woke up. He had to go to a meeting that morning so he hurried in the shower and dressed, leaving a note on the night stand for Sam to to read when she got up. He left the manor and was off to City Hall.
Sam slept for quite awhile before she woke up she read the note and smiled she walked over to the bath water it was cold. "Crap..." She mumbled.
Tera came into the room with fresh sheets and began remaking the bed when she saw Sam in the bathroom. "OH! I'm Sorry Sam... I thought you went with Master Aiden this morning."
Sam shook her head. "Nope he wanted me to get some rest." She said with a smile.
Tera smiled. "Oh that's nice. You two are never apart though... it's just weird." She turned back around tot he bed. "I'll just finish up in here and get out of your way."
Sam nodded as she sat in one of the chairs and rubbed her stomach slowly.
Tera walked over to the other side of the bed and looked across the room at Sam as she sat there rubbing her stomach. She tucked the pillows under the comforter and smiled. "You know... it's strange that Master Aiden would have you sleep with him if he doesn't like slaves at all." She made a slight smirk that was hidden by her long burgundy hair and continued. "Does he still make you call him 'master'?"
Sam looked up at Tera. "I know he doesnt like slaves he hates people being slaves." Sam said but then the master question came out. "Well...he hasnt permited me to call him by his name so I just call him master" Sam said looking down
Tera turned around and started putting the dirty sheets in the hamper she had with her. "Well... that's odd." She looked up at Sam. "As long as I'm talking to him face to face, he doesn't like it when I call him 'master'..." She grinned to herself and gathered the hamper and headed for the door. "It's just strange that he has you call him Master... when he gave everyone else permission to call him by his first name when we speak to him alone." She opened the door but stopped before actually leaving. "It's just that... you're actually involved with him.. and you still call him master." Tera left the room then and closed the door behind her.
Sam thought for a moment. She was right everyone else called him by his first name but he never told Sam to call him by his first name. Sams ears folded back as she stared at the wall.
Tera made it to the laundry room in the basement of the mansion and there were a few other maids there as well. She set the hamper next to the washer and started loading it. the other three in there were doing the same with linen from the other rooms. On girl noticed Tera had a slight grin on her face. "What's going on Tera?" Tera looked up at her. "What do you mean Kisa?" The girl put her hand to her hip as she lened against the washer. "well.. you seem awfully happy today... why the change of mood? Usually linen day is a in the a** to you." Tera smiled at her and giggled a little. "Oh I don't know. I just felt like smiling today." Kisa could tell Tera was up up something, but she didn't know what exactly. That's when another one of the maids asked, "You never feel like smiling unless you're around Aiden.. so what's the special occasion?" Tera started loading the washer again. "No special occasion, Yro ((like Euro...))." a dryer door slammed from across the room. "Oh please.. you think we're dumb don't you?" Kisa looked over at the girl. "Ai..." The girl called Ai walked over to Tera and looked her in the eye. "What did you say to Sam? we know those sheets are from Aiden's room and all of us knew Sam didn't go with him this morning, so what did you say to her up there huh?" Tera just laughed. "I didn't say anything that she shouldn't have already noticed." Ai huffed and walked back to the dryer. "You're really sneaky you know that Tera? Of course you know it.. what a dumb question." Tera started the washer with her masters blankets in it. "Well you said it." Kisa and Yro just looked between the two of them. Ai turned back to tera before she could leave the laundry room. "I'll make sure Aiden punishes you if you hurt that girl... you hear me Tera?" Tera left the room laughing. Kisa and Yro turned to Ai. "What..." Yro couldn't finish because she really didn't know what they knew.. so what was there to say about it? Ai looked at both of them. "Make sure Tera doesn't go near sam at all today alright you two?" Ai was the head maid in the house, and everyone under her had to listen to her. The two reluctantly agreed and were off to find sam before Tera could do anymore damage.
