Sam had let out a sigh. She needed to relax. She walked into the bathroom to drain the cold water and once it was all gone she filled it up with hot water. She added the bubbles and sat in it when it was filled. She sat there in the tub thinking about what Tera said. Her heart sank. Why didnt her master let her call him by his first name. It hurt her slightly as she kept thinking about it.
aiden was trying to get through the meetings as fast as he possibly could, but as soon as one was over, they called him to a different conference room for another meeting. It took almost seven hours to get through all of them, but he was finally done by one o' clock. He went to lunch with a few of the officials from city hall before heading home. He couldn't wait to get there and see Sam. He hadn't been gone for too long, but he missed her. It just irritated him to not have her with him. But he was thinking about her well being and let her sleep in that morning, so that was good. He pulled into the garage when he got onto the property and headed straight for his room. Tera stopped him on the way though. "welcome back Aiden." She said with a big smile on her face. "Hi Tera." He smiled back at her and continued on his way to his room but Tera pulled him to the side. "Aiden... you don't talk to me as much anymore..." She stepped closer to him. "Why is that?" Aiden laughed nervously and tried to squeeze past her off the wall. "Well... I have a lot of business to take care of lately.. I'm very sorry." Tera took hold of his tie smirking. "Oh Aiden... I miss you ya know." She laughed a little. "I miss sleeping next to you in the middle of the night... and going behind your fathers back." Aiden looked at her weird with a bright red blush on his face. He wondered why she would bring that up now after it had been almost two years since they had messed around. "What are you getting at Tera?" Tera pulled him cloer to her with his tie and leaned in toward him. "I want you back Aiden." She leaned in to kiss him.
Sam had heard her masters car pull up and she rushed to greet him but she saw him kissing Tera. Her eyes swelled up with tears. "Master...how..." She said and ran off crying. She ran out of the house and was able to get past the guards. She wanted to go back home back to her own people humans were just too cruel. When she got back to her old village people ran to greet her but they also comfoted her. Especially Neku. He took her into his home agian. She told him what had happened. "I see...This time I wont let him take you." He said kissing her forehead and letting her rest.
Tera saw Sam Walk in as she kissed Aiden. When Aiden heard sam's voice, he quickly turned and tried to explain. But by the time Tera had let him go, she was already out the door. Tera stood behind Aiden with a devious smile on her face. "Oh Aiden... I'm sorry." she walked up behind him and held his shoulders. "It's alright.. now we can be together again." Aiden looked over his shoulder with a hurt expression. "Please don't look like that Aiden. I'll make you feel better." Tera turned him around, took his hand in hers, and made him grab her breast. "You see... Sam doesn't have breasts like these..." Aiden quickly snatched his hand away and stepped away from her. "You did this.. on purpose." Tera laughed. "Of course I did. I want you back Aiden.. that girl should have you just because you think she needs special attention! She doesn't deserve you!" Aiden shook his head more disappointed in Tera than ever. Of course he was angry as well, but she had never sank this low to do anything before. "Tera..." She stepped a bit closet to him. "Yes Aiden?" He didn't even hesitate, as he headed for the door he said to her, "You're fired." And he continued on his way out the door after sam. Tera stood there dumbstruck with her mouth gaping. There were few listening ears from the other rooms but within the hour, every servant int hat manor would know of Tera's termination. aiden hopped in his car and drove back to the edge of the woods where sam had gone lat time. If he knew her as well as he thought, she would have gone back there this time too. He started into the woods. But then he had second thoughts. What if the people of that village actually kill him this time? Of course, sam would tell them everything again, and yet again the situation had been a misunderstanding. He sighed and took what ever future he had left coming to him. As long as he got to explain it to sam, he didn't care what happened to him fter that... as long as she knew.
Neku was walking through the village grabbing food from himself and Sam. He saw Aiden and he let out a hiss. Everyone turned to him and glared at him. All the women of the village didnt even look at him. Neku asked alittle neko girl to take the basket of food to his home while he delt with Aiden. "You sure have got some nerve comming here." Neku said in a hiss. "Everyone in the village wants to tear you limb from limb."
Aiden nodded at him. "I'm pretty sure you do. And I can't push aside that you actually might do it. But I have to talk to Sam... even if she decides to stay here, I just have to tell her something."
Neku's claws grew and he sliced Aidens cheek. "What more could you say to her right now?!" Neku demanded. "Your just like her old masters. Use her then leave her. Well she told me she doesnt want to see you anymore so go home!" Neku said growling. Other men of the village started to gather around Aiden.
Aiden's head swung to the side and he felt blood run down his face. He didn't blame Neku for reacting that way... how could he? And now that he knew Sam didn't even want to see him, what reason did he even have to be down there anymore? What reason did he have to live? If he couldn't see Sam, he knew there was no way in hell he'd be able to see his children, and that pained his heart more than the large gash across his face. He couldn't stay there... and what good what it do if he lived and couldn't see his family? He thought for a moment... he had a family coming on the way.. and he wouldn't even be able to see his children being born! Now he really felt like dying... he couldn't live and know that he has children and not see them for the rest of his life.
Neku looked at the gash on Aidens face. "You need to learn that you and Sam are two diffrent breeds. What kind of father are you if you force Sam to call you master insted of your real name! Would you force your children to do that too?! Sam needs someone that is the same stature as her. She doesnt need a lord of a fancy estate." Neku wanted to kill Aiden right there but he looked at him for a moment. "Sam is hurt...if you loved her you would have been able to advoid what made her hurt."
He was right. But if Aiden had thought for even a second that Tera would become problem, he would have fired her much earlier. But then again... that's not all that had hurt Sam... when she first got there, his father scared the hell out of her, him being her first master and all... but he had done well to help Sam avoid him when he could. And he couldn't help but feel shameful, angry and heartbroken all at the same time. But he only wanted the best for her in the end. "If she wants to stay... she can stay.. but please take good care of her. I love Sam.. and I don't know what I'd do if she got hurt because of me again.. but.. it won't happen again. please.. just tell her I love her." And that was that. Aiden's heart hung heavy and low in his chest as he felt the tears coming. He turned around and headed back out of the woods.
The little girl Neku sent eairlier came running. "NEKU ITS SAM SHES IN LABOR!" She screamed. Neku turned around and ran to his house. But stopped for a second to turn to Aiden. "Are you atlest comming to see your litter be born?" He asked.
Aiden had already turned around when the girl came back screaming. He took a few steps forward and ran right next to Neku back to his house.
Sam was in excruciating pain. The contractions kept comming. She let out a scream as she could feel one of the heads already comeing out. "Master...." She said. "I need you..."
And it seemed like something out of a movie. As soon as she had said that, Aiden came rushing into the house by her side. He quickly knelled down next to her and held her hand. "Sam..." He moved a stray lock of sweat dampened hair from her face as he looked down at her.
Sam looked up at her master and smiled. But her smile turned into a face full of pain. She screamed as the midwife of the village came into the house. She took off sams underwear and pants. "I can already see the head. Keep going Sam." She said as Sam let out a push. "I cant do this" She said breathlessly. "Come on Sam one more push and the first one is out." The midwife said and thats what Sam did. There was a small cry as Neku took the baby and started to clean it off. "Its a boy." He said placeing it on his bed so he could be ready for the next baby.
Aiden kissed her forehead. "You can do it sam.. I'm right here.. I'll always be here." He heard the cry of his son from across the room with Neku. He smiled and looked back down at Sam. He tried comforting her before the next one came. "You're doing good baby.. really good..."
Sam pushed hard to get the next one out. "Ok Sam one push and this will be the second one." She said as Sam pushed and the baby came out Neku swiftly took it and cleaned it off. "Its a girl." He said as he sat the crying baby girl down. Sam could feel the next one coming. She screamed in pain as she held her masters hand tightly. The third baby had just came out. Neku cleaned it off and checked the gender. "Boy." He said as he laid it down next to its brother and sister.
Sam was squeezing his had so hard her claws had come out and dug into his flesh, but Aiden didn't care. He put his forehead to hers. "That's it... one more.. you can do it Sam.."
Sam let out a breath as she pushed hard agian. The baby's head was out when Sam laid her head back looking like she was ready to pass out. Her small body couldnt take this much pain or pressure. "Come on Sam!" Neku said as she pushed one last time and the baby was out. And thats when Sam blacked out. Neku cleaned the baby off and did a gender check. "Boy." He said as he laid it down.
If Sam were awake at that moment, Aiden would have taken her in his arms and held her. But he knew she was tired and hurt from the birth. He was surprised they hadn't used any type of medicines to numb at least some of the pain. But their methods seemed to have worked for so many years successfully so he didn't mention it to them. It was bad enough he had even shown his face around the village again, he didn't want to be a bigger nuisance.
Neku sat down in his chair while the midwife checked Sams condition. The four babies had fallen asleep just like Sam but they were laying close together like a actual littler of kittens their bald ears foled back and their tails laying to one side.. Neku looked at Aiden. "I bet Sam's glad that you were there."
Aiden had moved out of the woman's way so she could tend to sam. He looked over at the counter where his children were laying bundled together. "I hope she was..." He turned to neku. "If she does decide to stay.. please take care of her." He was thinking she still might be angry with him even though he was there. He'd have to talk to her when she woke up, but as far as he knew, he'd have to prepare for the worst.
Neku laughed. "You know Ive learned from experience that if you dont run after them. Then that proves you dont want them. But I say give her a few days to cool down. With all those female hormones still running in her you'll have worse injuries then the one i did to you."
Aiden had forgotten all about the injury on his cheek. And now that he noticed it, it really did hurt.[
The midwife sighed and got some kind of sea shell out of her bag. "This will sting alot but it works." She said rubbing the clear paste on his cheek. "God I hate that stuff Should be kicking in about 3...2...1."
And that it did kick in. Though, it burned more than stung really. Aiden's face felt like an oven and he wanted to wipe the stuff off as fast as he could, but he knew it was helping. "This stuff is hot.."
The midwife smiled and brought a mirror. "But look at your wound." She said as she showed him. It was completely gone not even a scar was left.
"That's amazing.." Aiden rubbed his cheek where the gash used to be, it was like it had never even happened. "Thank you."
The midwife gave a slight bow and left the home. "Make sure she wakes up soon to feed the kittens." She said and left. Sam started to wake up slowly as she stared up at the ceiling.
Aiden smiled when he saw Sam's eye's open. "Hey there momma." She said smiling.
Sam looked at her master and smiled. Neku brought The firstborn boy and girl to Sam so they could start feeding. Sam sat up and took off her shirt and laid on her side. Nekos were more catlike when it came to feeding babies. The two knew what to do instantly and moved over to their mother's breasts and started feeding.
Aiden smiled as he saw his children. He really couldn't believe he had them now. He probably should have done something a long time ago... he just didn't know exactly know how to approach it properly. But he'd have to talk about it with Sam later. Of course, he'd have to wait until she was ready to leave, and now wasn't the time. He then noticed all of the kittens had neko ears now as opposed to when the ultrasound was taken only two of them had them. "The neko gene must be pretty strong..."
Neku looked at Aiden. "Well all we Neko's are basically cat and human's mixed. Our heritage goes way back before even humans were created. Or at least thats what humans say. But our story is different. We used to be cat creatures until one of them fell in love with a human which made Neko's and after that cat creatures became extinct and Nekos are its replacements. But unfortunately humans think we are some play things. But...Neko's never reproduced with humans before. And counting out cat characteristics are more dominant in our half human bodies. So these four are a new breed of neko's and humans."
"I don't suppose there's a medical specialist on them now." Aiden said laughing nervously. "I just don't want it to affect them too much in anyway.
Neku laughed. "Dont worry. They seem like regular Neko's. Besides your scientists haven even been able to crack our DNA code for centuries. So no need to worry about them takeing the four away." Neku said as he started to make dinner for everyone. Sam looked down at her babies who were sleeping next to her. She curled up slightly and started to lick their ears as a way of cleaning them.
The day had gone by long, but finally the sun went down and Aiden was able to lay down with sam.
Sam curled up to her master as the babies were in between them. Sam was purring softly and you could hear the babies slow steady breathing.
aiden kissed sam's forehead and looked down at his children. "Sam... I want to bring you all home with me. And... I want to get married."
Sams eyes teared up as she kissed her master's lips. "Im so happy Master" She said as she looked at the children.
Aiden smiled and kissed her back. "Please Sam... don't call me master. I tried telling you before.. but business has gotten in the way so many times.."
Sam smiled. "Ok Aiden..."
Aiden leaned over and kissed her again. He'd have to get home soon and start setting up their wedding. That way, she old be out of her contract and out of the slave market forever. She'd have his name... and with it all the power it held.
Sam smiled as her eyes became heavy and she fell asleep.
Aiden eventually fell asleep as well.
Sam awoke to something nudgeing on her breast. It was her daughter. She lifted up her shirt and the baby started to drink her milk right away. Soon one of her son's had awakened and went to his mothers other breast.
Aiden woke up almost after everyone else did. He looked over at Sam and smiled. "Good morning, sam." He kissed her forehead and then everyone of his children.
Sam smiled and kissed Aiden back. "Morning Honey." She said as the babies let out a small coo.
Aiden got up and looked around. He thought about Taking sam and the kittens home with him, though, he wasn't sure of what his father would say; but then again, it really didn't matter in the long run. But one important thing came to his mind. Names... they hadn't named the kids yet. Three handsome boys and one gorgeous girl... though there was a trick he knew about for naming cats: you'd have to name them by how they acted. He thought for a while and began to wonder just how Sam probably got her name. Sam, being short for Samantha, in her case, and Samantha being from an Aramaic word meaning "listener." Though she listened, Sam was indeed stubborn at times, but her name brought out her best quality. He turned to Sam then and asked, "What shall their names be?"
Sam laughed slightly. "Well you are the father so what would you like to name them." She said and thought for a second. "Well I have acouple names in mind..." She said as she looked at her daughter. "Kairi meaning water." She looked at the firstborn son. "Riku meaning earth." She looked at her second son. "Sora meaning sky."
Aiden smiled and nodded. "All fitting names to have the title of Zehnji. And the last shall be named after his father to carry on the legacy." He leaned down once more and kissed them all on their foreheads. He then lifted Sam's chin and kissed her deeply.
Sam smiled and kissed Aiden back deeply. The kittens wouldn't leave Sam alone they wanted milk all the time. But she couldn't blame them they needed it more than she did. Since her body was producing milk she began to grow not just in chest size but in height size. She now looked like a sixteen year old.
Aiden couldn't help but notice the drastic change in Sam's height. She had gone from coming above his waist, to standing at his chest. As Sam sat in a chair feeding two of the kittens for about the millionth time that day he asked her. "So... are we going to stay here a little longer? Or is it alright if we head home?" He wasn't anxious or anything, he just wanted to lay in his own bed again. Sure, the pallets the Neko's had were more comfortable than they looked, but the drafts from the floor couldn't be healthy for the kittens.
Sam nodded when there was a knock on the door. Neku answered it and the little girl from yesterday walked in. "Here Sam my mommy made this for you so you can carry around your kittens." She said handing Sam a bag carrier for the kittens. She could hold two infront and two in back. She quickly put it on and placed Sora and Kairi together and Riku and Aiden Jr. together. "Its made out of wool so it will keep them warm in the winter." The little girl said and left. After awhile of packing there was screaming outside. The little girl from before ran into Neku's house. "NEKU HUMANS!" She screamed as she ran over to Sam. "Kiki wheres your mother?" Sam asked the girl. The four babies were still slung around sam as she bent down to see the young neko. "They killed her." She said crying. "They are takeing all the women and children. Burning down houses and killing all the men." She cried as Sam picked her up. "Neku..." Sam said looking at him. "Your husband doesnt have power here its out of his boarder. You guys need to leave." Neku said then suddenly a torch that was on fire was thrown into the house. Sam with Kiki hid behind Aiden.
Aiden pushed them back against the wall and turned to Neku. "Where can they hide until this is under control?" He wanted to help as much as he could. Even though the entire village was probably against him for some reason or another he couldn't help but protect them as much as he could.
Neku shook his head. "Its too late they are here." He said seeing the men come up to the door and knock it down. "Ah theres some girls. Oh and it looks like the elder one just had a litter." One of the men said as he looked at Aiden. "Move aside rich boy. Her and that todler are going up for a slave tade. And if some of those babies are boys they must be "put down."
That struck a cord with Aiden. He had just gotten Sam out of that situation, he refused to let anyone else from that village get put into the situation; and then the talk of his own children getting killed and put into as well.. oh no. That wouldn't happen, ever. Aiden grabbed the closest thing to him, which just happened to be a knife; what luck? "You take one more step and I'll kill you."
Sam looked ar Aiden and held Kiki close. Two more men came in and grabbed Neku. The babies were crying and Sam couldnt do anything to make them stop. Sam's mother instincts were also kicking in. She set down Kiki and took the baby bags off her shoulders and gently laid them down on the bed next to them. "I think the mother is going to give in." One of the men said as Sam walked past Aiden. Her eyes were like cat eyes as she looked at the men full of anger. Sam's claws grew out and she attacked the men. The men tried to subdue her but she would either bite them with her fangs or cut them with her claws. When she was finnally pinned two men were dead three others were bleeding badly.
Aiden took his opening and started slashing and stabbing at whoever came close in his path. He had gotten out of the house to help the others knowing sam was probably on a rampage of anger inside. the final blow was to the neck of one of the men and the knife wouldn't come loose from him. Aiden jammed it as far down as he could and pushed him to the ground to die. But then all he heard from the inside was the crying of the kittens. he figured Sam was in some kind of trouble for her yowling had stopped. He rushed back in and pinned on the wall was Sam beneath the powerful arms of one of the men. He was already beaten up pretty bad, bleeding everywhere and yet still having enough strength to restrain Sam.
Sam let out the nastiest hiss at the men as one of them walked over to the kittens. She started to squirm and scratch at the man holding her down until there was a gunshot. Blood was splattered on the floor. Sam crying in pain over her right shoulder. The other man by the kittens and the little girl Kiki pulled out a gun too. They both looked at Aiden. "Put the knife down or we will put one in her head." The man that was holding down Sam pointed the gun to her head. While the other pointed it to Kiki and the kittens.
aiden couldn't move. He held the knife tight in his hand and glanced from face to face in the room. He never thought he could get as angry as he was, but surely the only thing that would calm him back down was to kill everyone that was causing it. He played out so many possible maneuvers in his head before making a move, but in every one, someone ended up getting either badly hurt or killed. And he just couldn't back down! How was he so sure that the men wouldn't just shoot them anyway after he dropped the knife? There was no telling.. so he held tight to the handle as he looked the men in the face from the door.
Sam saw Aiden panicking. She ignored the pain in her shoulder and bit the man's foot. He yelped in pain and his buddy cocked the gun ready to shoot the children. The shot went off. Kiki and the kittens became silent as Sam hit the floor bleeding.
And all in an instant, Adien looked from the the gun, to the floor. Sam lay there not moving a muscle... he had doubts she was even breathing. He started to get nauseous as he stood there. the room began to spin as he looked at the men. As if he had blacked out then, rage filled aiden's very being and he took the knife and launched it at the one who was closest to the children, hitting him square between the eyes, and sticking through his head all the way to the hilt. as he fell to the floor he grabbed the gun and shot the other one before he had a chance to react. When his vision came back in, he looked at the dead man in front of him with the bullet wound through his head and bits of his skull blasted on the wall. He turned to Kiki and saw her stunned and standing further into the corner. The kittens had roared up their crying again and Aiden made his way over to Sam on the floor. He held her close to him, rocking her back and forth. And for the first time in a while, he cried.
Sam's eyes slowly opened. She looked at Aiden with a smile but then she coughed up a lot of blood. She looked at her chest and she was shot in her left lung. Neku came into the house and saw Sam bleeding. He quickly ran over to the cabinet and grabbed some medicine that the midwife had. The men that were outside either left or were dead. Neku ran up to Sam and forced her to actually drink it. As it started to kick in Neku pulled out the bullets. Sam was out cold from loss of blood but her wounds were held completely.
Aiden laid Sam on the bed to rest and sat next to her. He tried to motion for Kiki to see if she was alright, but the girl didn't seem to want to move.
Sam woke up a day later and looked at the ceiling. The kittens were meowing for their mother to wake up. She looked at them and they were already on all fours playing around and biting each others ears.
Aiden was sitting in the chair across the room with his palms to his temples with his head down. He didn't notice Sam wake up, but he was making sure to keep an ear out for the kittens.
Sam stood up and walked over to Aiden. She gently kissed his head and waited for him to respond.
Aiden looked up, half expecting it to be Kiki trying to make him eat something again. He hadn't eaten at all since he got there and frankly he didn't have an appetite. But when he saw Sam standing there, he sighed in relief and pulled her into his arms.
Sam smiled when Aiden pulled her into his arms. She leaned back and kissed him roughly. She could feel that she had grown by the way her breasts pushed against his chest. Kiki was sucking her thumb as she was taking a nap unfortunately both her parents were killed leaving her orphaned. Normally neko's do not take other neko's kids. It went against their instincts. Sam broke the kiss and looked at Kiki. Her ears folded back. "Honey...we should take her home with us. Take her home as our daughter." Sam said in a soft tone.
Aiden smiled and looked at Kiki on the bed. "Of course. And she'll be a great help to you and the kids."
Sam smiled. She walked over to Kiki and picked her up. Kiki slowly woke up. "Your comming hom with us...We will be your new parents." Sam said softly to Kiki
Kiki's eyes lit up and she hugged Sam tightly. "Thank you Sam." Aiden smiled and gathered everyone up. he took two of the kittens and put them in the sling and put it around his shoulders. "Let's go home."
Sam smiled as she put the other two around her shoulders. All of them walked out. Kiki was holding Sam's hand tightly as they walked through the forest.
